Summer stared at her reflection at the varsity mirror. She'd put a strapless maroon floral printed dress that rest just above her knees. The dress hugged her torso and the skirt flowed from the waist. She slipped her feet into the black high heels and grabbed her small black leather sling bag. She had curled her hair previously and it rested perfectly under her shoulders.

She walked out of the room and she saw Claire was talking to Mrs. Hood. Claire was Mrs. Hood's son's best friend back in Sydney. They were still pretty close until now. Claire had told Summer before that after she had graduated from college, Mrs. Hood offered her a job at her advertising company. Claire gladly took it and she moved to London with Mrs. Hood because Mrs. Hood opened another office branch in London.

"Hey, Claire," Summer greeted the blonde beautiful lady in front of her. Claire turned her head to see Summer and her eyes widened in surprised.

"Oh my God. Summer, you look really beautiful. You're even more beautiful than the last time I saw you," Claire gushed as she hugged Summer.

"Thank you, Claire. You look beautiful too." Summer smiled at her ex co-worker.

Claire waved her hand dismissively. "Oh, please. You're more beautiful than me," she snorted. Claire never believed when people said she was beautiful, except Luke. Summer always adored her because she looked beautiful in any type of clothes. Claire looked stunning in her white and gold dress and she put her blonde hair in chignon.

"Shall we go now?" Mrs. Hood asked as she smoothen her black pencil skirt.

Both Summer and Claire nodded in response.

They had dinner at an expensive restaurant. When they arrived there, there were already three girls waiting for them. They were Claire's bridesmaids. They were Helena, Kaithlyn and MJ-- or Mary Jane (No, she wasn't the girl from Spiderman). Helena was Claire's brother's fiancé. They already had a son named Nathan.

Summer looked at Nathan who was sitting on Helena's lap. He looked like someone who was quite familiar to Summer but she couldn't figure it out.

"So, Summer, do you still remember the time when I told you that you have to bring a date to my wedding?" Claire asked as she twirl around the pasta on her plate.

Summer took a sip of her wine and nodded.

"I think I know who's gonna be the perfect date for you," Claire continued.

"You do?" Summer couldn't hide her excitement. Let's just say Summer was never lucky in her love life. Her love life was always full of cheating, one-sided love or she would be left or dumped by her boyfriend. She silently hoped that maybe, maybe her date to Claire's wedding would be the one for her.

Summer was already on the perfect age to get married. She was 23 and she already had 2 nephews and 3 nieces. Both her brother and her sister were already married. They got married when they were 22. Summer always felt jealous to her sibling because they could find the one for them easily. Her family also always asked her if she already had someone who wanted to spend the rest of his life with Summer.

Claire nodded excitedly then she looked at Mrs. Hood who sat next to Summer. "Aunt Joy, you won't mind if Calum goes to the wedding with Summer, right?"

Summer's eyes widened in surprised. She couldn't believe that her date would be Mrs. Hood's son. Mrs. Hood's son was Claire's best friend back in Sydney. Claire had said to Summer when Claire was still working for Mrs. Hood that Mrs. Hood's son was a hottie.

"Of course not, dear. I would be really happy if they go together to the wedding. I think they look perfect for each other," Mrs. Hood gushed. Summer felt her cheeks reddened that moment.
