The beeping sound from the alarm echoed in the room. The curtains automatically slid opened, allowing the sun light to illuminate the bedroom. The light hit Summer's face and Summer squinted her eyes. She groaned and muttered some curses under her breath. She rolled her body and planted her face to the pillow, getting ready to go back to sleep.
The alarm kept ringing again and again. Summer tried her hard to ignore it but it failed. "Okay, okay. I'm awake now," she growled and turned the alarm off.
She laid her body back to the bed and looked to the ceiling absentmindedly. Last night was quite fun. She'd talked to Ashton - the drummer- and he was really a nice person. They were having a nice time well... until Calum butted in. He told Summer that his parents were going to go home earlier and he didn't want to drive Summer back to the penthouse.
Ashton had said that he wanted to give Summer a ride, but since he went to the dinner with his friend, he couldn't. So, Summer had had to went home with Calum's parents.
Well, at least, she got Ashton's number, she thought.
Then there was a knock on Summer's door, interrupting her train of thoughts.
"Hey, Anderson. You better be ready right now or you will go to the dance studio on your own," said Calum from the other side of the door.
Summer rolled her eyes, ignoring Calum. She hesitantly went to the bathroom, getting ready for today.
Last night, Claire had gave them some schedule. There were some plans to do before the wedding. Today, they had a dancing class. Summer hated dancing. She wasn't good with it. She was pretty sure that Calum would make fun of it. Well, that if he was good with dancing.
As she was getting ready, Calum kept knocking the door obnoxiously. Summer was really annoyed with it, but she didn't care. She somehow enjoyed to see Calum getting annoyed by her.
"Summer! I swear if you don't open the door like right now, I will-" Calum yelled from the outside and before he could finish his sentence, Summer opened the door.
She crossed her arms. "You will what?" She said, trying to look challenging.
Calum looked at her with annoyed look. He turned around then walked away while muttering something under his breath - something that Summer couldn't hear clearly.
Summer went to the kitchen to have her breakfast while Calum was watching tv on the living room. Both Mrs. Hood and Mr. Hood were heavy sleepers, so they hadn't woke up yet this moment.
"Have you done yet? I swear you move really slow like a snail," Calum said as he walked to the kitchen.
Summer put her glass to the dish washer and turned to see Calum leaning against the counter top with his arms folded. She did it on purpose. She wanted to make Calum annoyed with her because she still couldn't forgive Calum for his attitude. She would forgive him until she felt satisfied with her revenge plan.
"Excuse me? What did you just say?" Summer pretended to be offended.
"Nothing. Now let's go. I don't want to be late," Calum said then walked out of the kitchen.
---------------------------------------------Summer looked around her. The parking lot was almost full by cars. Summer could spot Luke and Claire's car parked near the front door of the dance studio. She couldn't stop biting her lower lip; It was her nervous habit.
Calum got off the car, closed the door and locked it. He took off his sunglasses and slid it to his back pocket.
"Damn. This dance studio looks like a freaking expensive art gallery," he muttered as he saw the building in front of him.
