"You really like him, don't you?" Sophie asked from another line as Summer paced back and forth at the balcony.

She stopped and looked to the sky. The sky was really bright today and the clouds on the sky only made it look even more beautiful. The New York City view from up here was stunning but Summer couldn't find it as amusing as she usually did because her mind was too occupied with something else.

She closed her eyes for awhile and sighed. "Yes, Soph. I like him a lot and I don't know how he could make me feel this way," Summer admitted. She opened her eyes, welcomed by the city view of New York City once again. "How is it even possible for him to make me fall hard for him?"

Summer heard a soft laugh from the other line. "I don't know, Summer. But from what I heard, I think you're whipped," Sophie said.

"Am not!" She argued.

"Yeah, whatever. So, what are you going to do about it?"

Summer sighed again. "That's the question that I've been asking myself. I don't know what to do, Sophie. That's why I called you to ask for your advice."

"Well," she started. "I think you should show him that you like him if you want to make him notice that you have some feelings for him."

"How?"

"That's really a quite hard question to answer," Sophie answered then paused for a moment, trying to think any kind of ways for Summer to show her feelings for him. "Calum is still trying to move on from Claire, right?"

Summer nodded even though she knew that Sophie couldn't see her from the other line.

"Then all you need to do is being on his side everytime and try to help him to move on from Claire. I bet that he'll like you back if you're always by his side. That's how I made Daniel fall for me," Sophie continued and Summer could tell that she was smiling now as she remembered the memories in the past.

"But what if it doesn't work?" Summer asked.

Sophie was silent for a moment. "Then maybe he's not the one, Summer."

Summer stared at the tv screen in front of her without actually watching it. Her mind had been occupied for hours, wondering of any ways to make Calum realize that she liked him.

Summer usually wasn't the type of the girl who liked to show the boy she liked about her feelings- unless when they were dating. But she had this desperation feeling inside her that she needed to show Calum about her feelings. She needed to show Calum that she could help him move on from Claire. She needed to show Calum that she could be the girl who could make him forget about his past and she could be the girl that Calum would fall in love with.

And maybe, maybe she could show him that she could be the one for him.

It was crazy though, she thought. Whenever she thought about Calum, she could see them in the future together. She had the feeling that they could be together for a long time, get married and have a family. Summer could even picture that they could have cute little babies with Calum's hair color and Summer's eye color.

She shook her head and closed her eyes and began to think that she had lost her mind, setting her hope too high. Summer scolded herself for letting those kind of thoughts in her mind. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and the door bell rang a few times. Summer furrowed her eyebrows and glanced to the clock which was hanging above the tv.

It was 2.30 P.M. The Hoods shouldn't be here this early. Their flight to New York from LA was still 2 hours later. Whoever the person behind the door knocked on the door again and rang the bell a few times. Summer sighed, running a hand through her red hair that was still damp from her shower before she stood up and walked to the front door.
