Summer walked back and forth in her bedroom, thinking about Calum. She was still in surprise because Calum asked her to hang out with him tonight.

She was excited and she didn't even know why. She should've hated him, but she just couldn't. After what had happened in the backyard this afternoon, Summer felt like she was looking at Calum as a different person.

Calum was a caring and playful person; just like what Claire had described him to Summer. And as much as she hated to admit it, but Summer had to say that she agreed with her. Now, she believed that Calum was a really nice person.

"Summer, honey. We're heading out for dinner. Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Mrs. Hood called from the living room.

"I'm sure, Mrs. Hood. Have fun!" Summer called back.

She heard some rustling sound from the living room and the sound of the door being closed. That's when she knew that she was now all alone in the penthouse. The excitement and the nervousness rushed in Summer's veins again.

She started to bite her nails anxiously. She didn't even know why she did that. She shouldn't have been nervous like that. She was only going to have some friendly talk with Calum. She kept repeating those words inside her heart.

After what it felt like for years, the door bell rang. Summer took a deep breath and walked quickly to the front door. She opened the door to reveal Calum in a black band tee, a pair of skinny jeans and a gray beanie. He was smiling to Summer and in his hands was a box of pizza.

"Hi, Summer," Calum greeted. "You look-"

And before Calum got the chance to finish his words, Summer cut him off. "Pizza! Finally!" She yelled in excitement and grabbed the pizza from Calum's hands.

Calum stared the girl in front of him with wide eyes. "Hey! You should've been excited to see me, not the pizza!" He pouted.

Summer shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "I'm starving."

Calum crossed his arms over his chest and he was puffing his cheeks while pouting like a child. Summer rolled her eyes at his childish manner.

"Geez, fine. I'm excited to see you too. C'mon, get in. You have no idea how starving I am," she said and walked in to the living room.

When she was about to put the pizza box on the table, Calum stopped her. "No. We're going to eat it outside," he said and went to the hallway, leaving Summer alone in the living room.

"Calum, where are you going?" Summer called out. She was confused because Calum wasn't heading to the outside.

"Just wait for a minute. There's something I need in the storage room," he answered.

Minutes later, Calum walked with some blankets in his hands. He walked out to the balcony and set up the blankets. He threw some pillows from the nearby sofas onto the blankets. He walked in back to the living room, seeing Summer was standing still on her previous spot with a confused look on her face.

"Just go outside. And don't you dare to touch the pizza before I come," he said and walked to the kitchen.

Summer did what Calum had told her. She walked out to the balcony and awkwardly sat on the blankets. She absentmindedly twiddled her fingers with the edge of the blanket. She was tempted to grab a slice of pizza because she was really hungry, but she didn't want to make Calum angry if he found out.
