It'd been two days since Summer found Calum. He was still staying at the penthouse because he was still afraid to meet anyone else. Summer understood and she didn't push him though. She'd told everyone that she'd found him and told them that he was okay and he needed some time to be alone right now.

Their days would be spend by talking about each other and watching tv while cuddling. Summer knew that everyone might find it kind of weird because they were just friends and they were cuddling like a couple- which what they were doing right now- but she didn't find anything was wrong with it. She thought it in a friendly way and she was sure that Calum thought the same thing too.

She hated to admit it though that it was really nice and she found it comfortable to cuddle with him. She felt like it was really perfect as if their bodies were made for each other. It was like two pieces of puzzle were attached together, filling one another. She liked the way he'd put his arms around her waist, bringing her closer to him. She liked the way he'd put his chin on top of her head and sometimes he'd put his head on the crook of her neck. She liked the way his minty breath hit her neck when he was talking to her while they cuddled. She liked the way when he absentmindedly laced their fingers together and fumbled with her fingers.

She liked everything about him. She felt like Calum had some effect on her. She didn't knew why but she felt happy and loved with him. The way he stared at her made her feel like she was the only one he put his attention to. The way he smiled at her when he saw her in the morning and whenever they were together. The way he laughed, making his eyes crinkled at the end.

Although he would sometimes show the cocky side of him, Summer still liked everything about him. Just the thought of him could make Summer shivers and the butterflies in her stomach came alive. She exactly knew the familiar feeling that she was feeling right now but she kept ignoring it, saying that maybe she was just physically attracted to him. But her heart told her the otherwise.

Summer's phone rang from the coffee table and it woke her up from her nap. She was sleeping on the couch with Calum- again, with his arms around her waist. She reached out her hand and took the phone from the coffee table, squinting her eyes to see the caller ID.

Claire Clifford.

Shit, she thought to herself. The last time they talked was yesterday morning and it was Summer who had called her first to tell her about Calum. She remembered clearly that Claire had let out a relief sigh when she knew Calum was okay and currently with Summer. She even had told Summer to take care of him.

She quickly got out of Calum's arms- waking up Calum in the process- and made a run to the balcony where the dry and hot summer wind hit her skin. She swiped her phone screen to answer the call.

"Hello?" She greeted with slightly hoarse voice then cleared her throat. "Claire? What's up?"

"Hi, Summer," Claire's voice sounded front the other line. She tried to be heard like her usual cheerful self but Summer could tell it that she wasn't happy. Summer knew that Claire and Luke had had a fight after Calum's confession. Mostly, they fought because Luke was angry that he didn't know anything about Calum's feelings for her.

"What're you doing now?" She asked.

"Just having a nap. Why?" Summer replied and stifled a yawn.

"Oops, sorry for waking you up. Is Calum there with you?"

Summer turned and looked from the corner of her eyes that Calum was already standing not quite far from her with confused look and he had his arms crossed. "It's okay and yeah, he's here with me. Why?"
