Summer stared at the pile of clothes scattered on her bed beside her suitcase. She didn't know how long she had been staring at the view in front of her because her mind was too busy with the thoughts of her leaving.

She didn't believe that five weeks had passed so quickly. The wedding day had passed. After the reception, the ship boarded this early morning. Summer immediately went with Ashton because he had promised her that he would take her around Miami, trying some food from food trucks and taking some pictures at the beach. Ashton had dropped her back to the beach house around three hours ago.

She was grateful she didn't meet anyone when she arrived back at the beach house. She just didn't want to meet anyone at the moment because she was scared of what they thought about her. She absolutely didn't want to act like there was nothing had happened before because they were there, seeing every moment with their own eyes. She was sure that they were now thinking all the negative kind of thoughts about her because at the reception, she had always been with Ashton all the time. She didn't even dance with Calum. Let alone talking to him.

Summer shook her head to get rid of her train of thoughts. She turned her head to see the beach view from her room. The sun was almost set. The once blue sky turned into orange-pink shade. She had let the window opened and the summer breeze flew into her room. She closed her eyes, trying to remember the feeling of the summer breeze hitting her skin because she knew this might be going to be her last time in Miami and even if she would come back in the future, it was still going to be years long from now on.

The sudden urge to sink her feet in the sand made her move her legs to the outside of the beach house. She carefully looked around the room while she kept hoping she wouldn't meet anyone. And thankfully, the house was empty. Maybe they were all still tired so they spent their days inside the room instead, she thought.

She slowly walked towards the beach at the back of the beach house. She let her hair being flown by the wind. She loved the feeling, especially when her feet met the sand. She stopped her step and looked around her. She was going to miss all of these. The summer was almost end and she was going to miss this beautiful summer and the unforgettable memories that she had created with the people that she had met- especially the ones that she had created with Calum.

Calum.

A part of her regretted the fact that she had decided to avoid him at the reception but another part of her assured her that it was for the best. She knew she was a liar when she had told Claire that she wouldn't run away from the person who had broken her heart, but she did it anyways. No matter how hard she tried to be strong, she would give up at the end because the pain was hurting her really bad.

"It's really beautiful out here," someone spoke from behind her.

The peaceful moment that she had once now was disturbed by the presence of the person who was constantly in her mind. She kept her mouth shut and looked straight ahead, trying to ignore his presence.

She could smell his cologne getting stronger which meant that he was standing closer to her. She was going to miss that scent. She loved his scent and she was going to miss it.

"You know, you still owe me a dance," he said, obviously not giving up to make her talk to him.

"I'm sorry I was busy last night," she lied.

"Bullshit, Summer," he said bitterly. "You were supposed to sit beside me, not beside Ashton. I was your wedding date, not his. You were supposed to be always on my side, but no, you weren't."

Summer bit her lower lip and she could feel the tears were threatening to fall.

"Why did you do that? I thought you liked me, Summer. If you really liked me, you wouldn't hurt me that way-"
