Michael was passing back and forth in the living room with his phone in his hands while Calum walked into the room. His friend looked rather frustrated just by the look on his face.
"What's wrong, mate?" Calum asked as he plopped down to the couch.
Michael threw his phone to the couch, next to Calum and rubbed his face in exasperation. "The fucking nanny cancelled on the last minute," he said. "Now, I don't have anyone to babysit Nathan."
"You know that me and Summer could babysit him for you," Calum shrugged.
Michael looked at him with weird look then chuckled dryly. "You? Pfft... Please. You would always reject my request to babysit my son. What makes you change your mind by the way?"
Calum bit his lower lip to hide his shy smile. "Well, you look like you don't want to cancel whatever your plan is just because the nanny cancelled on you on the last minute. So, me as your best buddy offered what a best bud could do for his best bud."
"Are you sure this is not one of your ways to have any reason to see Summer?" Michael asked bluntly with his signature devilish smirk on his face.
Calum quickly denied his friend's assumption which only caused Michael to believe his own theory even more.
"Yeah, whatever." Michael said to Calum, rolling his eyes.
"So, is it a yes or no?" Calum looked at his best friend with a hopeful look on his face.

Summer was just woken up from her sleep. She walked to the kitchen, still with her frizzy bed head and her tired face. She was pretty exhausted because last night Claire had decided to drag her to some club to meet her old friends. She opened the refrigerator, looking for something to fill her empty stomach.
"Well, well, well... The sleeping beauty has finally woken up from her long sleep," a familiar voice came from behind.
She jumped up because of shock and turned around to see Calum was standing near the doorway. He was leaning to the doorway with his arms folded. He was wearing a black tank which showing his perfect biceps.
"Calum," she shrieked. "What the hell are you doing in here?"
"Sshh-there's a kid in the next room. Don't swear," he scowled.
"Kid? What kid?"
Suddenly, Nathan emerged into the room and running towards Summer, hugging her legs. "Summer," he giggled sweetly.
"Nathan. Apparently, today is our turn to babysit Nathan again because his nanny cancelled her appointment on the last minute." Calum casually said.
"What?" She looked at him still with confusion. She didn't remember that she had made any agreement to babysit Nathan today. She bend down to pick Nathan and held her in her arms.
"I'll explain the story later. Just go take a shower and wear something casual. We're going to the amusement park today. I'll cook the breakfast for you," Calum casually said as he made his way to the fridge. He looked at the food inside the fridge for a moment before he decided to take some eggs and bacons.
Summer still looked at him with confusion. She was hoping that this was just some kind of dream. "Wh-what?" She said.
Calum rolled his eyes and sighed. "Just do what I said. No more questions."
Summer sighed inwardly before she looked at Nathan who was currently playing with her hair. She smiled weakly to the little boy. She looked back at Calum who was now busy cooking for Summer's breakfast.
