"You ready?" Calum asked as Summer walked into the living room with her big brown suitcase dragged behind her.

Summer stopped, looking around the penthouse. She already loved the feeling of living in this big city, not only because of the great tall buildings, the great places that she had visited, the food and all unique people that she had seen, but also how memorable this city was to her- started with her meeting with Calum weeks ago when she had hoped not to see him again, her meeting with Duke and some great times that she had spent with her new friends.

"I'm going to miss this place badly," Summer confessed to him as she kept looking around the penthouse, taking in every single thing that she saw so she could remember it for a long time.

A warm hand was placed on Summer's back. She really loved the warm familiar feeling whenever he touched her. "In the future, I'll take you back to this city," Calum said.

Summer's heart swell at his words. In the future. Calum had planned something for them in the future and that made her happy even though it was just a visit to New York but she was still happy. She tilted her head to see him. "You will?" She asked with a hopeful look.

Calum nodded with no hesitation or doubt like he really meant what he had said to Summer. "It's a promise. And I always keep my words," he replied, smiling at her.

Summer grinned widely to him. She believed in him. She had no doubt that Calum surely would take her back to New York one day. And she couldn't wait until that day comes.

The airport was as busy and crowded as usual. Calum and Summer walked hand in hand while they dragged their suitcases with their free hands. Summer still couldn't believe that she was with Calum now. She still couldn't believe that this was going to be her first time to travel with someone that she loved.

She hadn't told him yet that she already loved him. She had told him that she liked him instead that night at the club. Baby steps, she thought. Calum had just moved on from Claire... or maybe was still in the middle of the process.

They still had plenty of times so they decided to look for a place to have breakfast. Besides, they still had to wait for Michael and Helena to show up. They wasn't going to go to Miami by a private plane like Claire and Luke because the private plane itself was already full with their family members. It was different with Michael. Even though he was a family member, he'd chosen to go with Calum instead.

As they were still trying to decide which place to go to for breakfast, they saw Ashton went out from a coffee shop with a cup in his hand and his other free hand holding his suitcase handle. He was looking to the ground at first, not noticing Summer and Calum who were standing not really to far from him. He looked up and he stared at them with shock on his face. He nearly dropped his coffee to the ground.

They came face to face. Summer felt Calum held her hand tighter and he wore this blank expression on his face. Summer's eyes continuously flickered from Calum to Ashton. Both of them looked to each other with blank expression. The air soon filled with uncomfortable and awkward tension.

"Summer," Ashton managed to greet after minutes of silence. "Calum," he said in monotonous voice.

Calum only gave him a stiff nod.

"Hi," Summer greeted back, grinning to Ashton but he didn't reply back.

They didn't say anything or move for seconds and it made Summer even get more uncomfortable with the situation. She tugged Calum's hand to gain his attention. Calum looked down to her still with his no expression look.
