No Happy Ending

Jessica comes into the office ignoring her secretary. She puts her purse  on the table and sitting down on chair puts hands in her hair and closes her eyes

"Danny...Danny...Danny" she whispers and the door opens.

"Mrs. Huston?" Gloria goes in and Jessica sits down in normal position.

"Oh, Gloria, I didn't see you, sorry."

"It's ok.....Are you okay?"

Jessica looks through the open door and sees a bouquet of flowers.

"Mrs. Huston?!"

"Hm?...Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Who got the flowers?"

"Your husband has brought their" Gloria smiles.

Jessica rises from the table and goes to the flowers. After she throws them in the trash, she goes to the Secretary.

"I don't want to see flowers in the office and all the crap my husband brings, okay?" she says strictly and Gloria nods.

"You can go now!" she sits at the desk.

"Sam wants to see you in 10 minutes" Gloria said and left.

Vivien plays with the dog in the yard, Dorothy makes lunch in the house. Danny comes into the yard and goes to the daughter.

"Daddy!!!" she's running to him .

"Hey, Princess!" he catches her and picks her up.

"You're here!"

"I promised" he kisses her on the cheek.

"Look what I brought you" he pulls from his jacket pocket a chocolate and a toy dog from paw patrol.

"Oh! Thank you, daddy! You're the best!" she hugs him and kisses him on the cheek.

"Anything for my Princess!"

"Danny?!" Dorothy's leaving the house .

"Oh, Hello, Mrs. Lange!"

"Jessica not told that you should come" she is coming to them.

"She doesn't know I'm here. I just promised Vivian that I will come!"

"Grandma, look what daddy brought me!" she's giving her a toy.

"This is a very cute toy, honey!" Dorothy smiles at her and they stand silent for a while.

"Mrs. Lange, I think I should explain everything!"

"No......Danny, everyone and everything is clear! Honey, come on, we gotta get to the zoo!" Dorothy gives her hand.

"Bye, daddy!" she hugs him then leaves with Dorothy.

"Bye, princess....."

Jessica stayed at work and the kids had dinner without her. After dinner, they all watched TV, and then Dorothy put Vivien to bed.
Alicia and David were watching a movie but the doorbell distracted them.

"I'll open it!" Alicia gets up from the couch and opens the door.
On the threshold of a nobody, only a white large envelope on which was written in large letters "For Jessica Lange" and in small print "open this and you'll know everything"
Alicia closes the door and goes to her brother.

"Who was it?"

"Nobody...or rather, someone left an envelope for our mom" she sits on the couch and David moved up to her.

"(Open it and you'll know everything)" David says.

"We have to give it to mom"

"No, what if someone wants to upset her!" David takes the envelope.

"David! Maybe it's some bills for the house?!"

David gives her a look and she rolls her eyes.

"We have to see what's in there!"

"No, we should not stick our nose in mom's case, she will be upset!"

"Get scissors!" David pushes her.
Alicia rolling his eyes, goes into the room and after five minutes returned to the living room.
They cut the envelope.

"I'm home!" Jessica comes into the living room and David hides the envelope under the pillow.

"Hey, mom!" Alicia smiles nervously.

"Hello, my babies!" she kisses them.
"What are you hiding from me?"

"Nothing...."

"David, what is it?!" she smiles.

"It....it's just.."

"Homework" Alicia says

"Homework?"

"Yeah!" they answer in one voice

"Well...Vivien is sleeping?"

"Yeah, grandma's in her room."
Jessica takes off her jacket and goes up.

David pulls out the envelope and they run into his room.
He sits on the bed and Alicia closes the door and sits next to him.
They open the envelope and the photos fall out of it.
Alicia takes a photo and her eyes get wild.

"What's it?" she asks.

"It's dad.....and his girlfriend..."
