Jessica spent the next day at work. It was the first day that no one was trying to talk to her because she was answering rudely or not paying attention at all. She was just sorting out the papers in her office.

*Knock knock*

"I'm busy!" she answers rudely

"Mrs. Huston, I have more documents for you!" the girl's voice says quietly

"Ugh" she mumbles. "Come in"

The girl puts the box on the table and leaves. Jessica opens this and the three cupcakes stand there with the cream inscription "smile" instead of the documents.
The door slowly opens and Sam pokes his head.

"Surprise!"

"Mr Shepard!"

"Mr Shepard? No, I'm Sam!" he goes into the office. Jessica pushes the box back and returns to the documents.

"Would you like coffee?"

"No! Listen, Sam, I really want to work, I want to be alone now" she raises her voice, looking at the table.

"Jessica, if you just sit and dive into the work, it will not help you at all!"

"Sam, I'll decide by myself what will help me and what not! Please, leave!"She rises from her chair

"I'm trying to cheer you up! Everyone in the office is afraid to come to you! You are rude all day, do not pay attention to anyone! Try to leave your problems at home!" he yells at her

"I'm trying, but my boss will not let me work! You just don't understand, Sam! You do not understand how it hurts!"

"I don't understand! Oh, Jessica, I understand! Believe me, I was more hurt than you!" he leaves, slamming the door. Jessica sits back, continuing to work.

In the evening when the children returned from school, Jessica and Vivian watched TV

"How's the last day of school?"Jessica smiles.

"Finally, this hell is over" David sits next to them on the sofa.

"Yeah" Alicia's going up the stairs.

"Wait, Alicia! I have to talk to all of you!" Jessica gets up from the couch and sits down on the coffee table.

"About what?" Alicia sits down on the sofa

"About your father! He lives in his own apartment and me and him aren't together anymore!"

"Why?"Alisiya interrupts her

"We don't love each other anymore! Everything is over!"

"Not true!"

"Alicia, can you just put up with this?" David looks at her

"No! Hah, YOU don't love it! He loves you! You ruined everything now! You, it's not his fault!" Alicia yells at Jessica .

"You don't know the whole truth, Alicia, and don't raise your voice at me!"

"Then tell us the whole truth! Come on, we're waiting! "She crosses her arms

"You want the truth!?"Jessica speak with anger "Your father slept with Miranda! They met several times and who knows, maybe it was in our house!" She yells back at her

"No ... I do not believe you!"

"Ask him!"

Alicia gets up from the couch and runs into the room.

"He's an idiot! If I see him, I'll kill him!" David squeezes the elbow of the sofa

"David, don't say that!"Jessica puts her hand on his hand

"And how else should I do, just close my eyes to it! Huh, no!"He leaves the room.

Vivian looks at her with big eyes, hugging a toy.

"Honey, come here!....Vivian?"

Her breathing becomes faster and she begins to cry. Jessica hugs her, kissing her forehead.

"Shhh honey! Don't cry! Everything will be fine! You can still see him"

"I want to daddy! Take me to daddy!" she begins to cry more

"Baby, it's late!"

"I want to daddy!" she screams

"Vivian, we're not going to your father now!"

"Then let him come! I want him to come!"

"Vivian..."

"No!" She runs into the room.

Jessica closes her eyes, putting her hand on her forehead and taking a deep breath, she begins to feel not pleasant feelings in her stomach and she runs into the bathroom.

"What the hell is going on with me" Jessica looks at herself in the mirror and walks away as puts her hands on her belly and doorbell interrupts her.
Jessica runs down the stairs and opens the door.

"Jess, I'm so sorry....."
