No Happy Ending

Thanksgiving

"Knock, knock"Jessica opens the door  and Alicia removes the headphones.

"Mom, let's not talk about this, okay?"

"Yeah, dinner's ready and can you help me with thanksgiving dinner?" Jessica smiles sweetly, swiping her finger across the table.

"And you have dust!"

"I'll help with dinner!"Alicia gets out of bed and runs her hand across the table

"Done!" she shows her hand and Jessica giggles.

Thanksgiving

The morning began not so well. Jessica woke up with terrible back pain, for a long time trying to get out of bed she finally did it and after morning procedures went down to the kitchen where everyone was eating breakfast.
Jessica poured herself a coffee and sat at the table.

"What?!" she asks when she notices Alicia looking at her.

"It's thanksgiving!" Alicia shrugs her shoulders

"I know and what?"

"Maybe you could try being a little fun"

Danny closes his eyes as taking a deep breath, and David and Vivian look at sister with wild eyes

"Well, sorry I'm pregnant.. with triplets! And I'm sorry I can't help the fact that my mood changes every hour and my back and legs are hurting terribly now!I just can't help it" Jessica says calmly with a slight irritation in her voice.

"It will be a long day!" Alicia mumbles to herself

"Excuse me?" Jessica raises an eyebrow.

"Nothing" he smiles sweetly.

Jessica gets up from the table and throws the towel on the table, goes into the room.

"You could treat your mother with respect, Alicia!" Danny says sternly and follows Jessica.

Danny comes into the bedroom and finds Jessica sitting on the bed and quietly sobbing. He sits next to her, putting his hand on her leg.

"Why doesn't she love me? she's very rude to me, I don't understand why. She's always been close to you, but right now, it's like she hates me. I can't help what's happening to my emotions right now!"

"Jessie, she's a teenager and sometimes she acts awful, but she loves you and didn't want to hurt you!" Danny gently strokes her leg.

"Then..."

A knock at the door interrupts them. Alicia slowly walks into the room with a sad look on her face.

"Mom, I'm  sorry!"

" Oh my girl!" Jessica opens her arms and Alicia runs into her arms.

"Of course I forgive you!"she kisses the top of her head.

"I love you, mom!"

"And I love you too, honey!"

"I think it's time to start getting ready for dinner!"

"Oh, no, mom! You're resting and we'll make it!" Alicia smiles

"What?! No, I want to help!"

"But you need more rest to keep the babies healthy!" Danny strokes her belly

"Please?"

"No! Rest!"

"Okay!"

When the guests arrived, they started to have dinner and talk. The evening turned out very cozy and family.
When everyone are gone, except Jessica's sisters, Jessica and kids went to sleep, and Ann and Jane helped Danny clean up.

"Jane, we didn't even throw a baby shower for Jessica!" Ann grabs her sister by the sweater and pushes her

"Because she doesn't want it!"

"So?! We'll surprise her!" Why not?"

"Well, great idea!"

"Girls, what are we talking about?" Danny approaches them .

"About Jessica!" Jane replies annoying and walks away
Danny looks at Ann, but she rolls her eyes and walks away, too.

He puts on his jacket and opens the door, but  hears someone coming down the stairs.

"Daddy? Where are you going?" Vivian rubs her eyes

"Why are you not in bed? It's late!" he picks her up

"I want some water!" she puts her head on his shoulder

"Okay"

Danny put her to bed and quietly left the house. He got in his car and drove off. His thoughts were only about Jessica ... he began to think about how he hurt her, how he hurt the children and even if now they talk to him as if nothing happened, it still worries him. Danny reached for the cigarettes and despite the road, he loses control and drives out to meet the car. In a matter of seconds, they crash into each other and Danny's car flies off the road, turning over twice....
