No Happy Ending

Unprofessional person

The doctors were able to stop the bleeding, but Jessica was still asleep and no one understood why.

"Maybe she's very tired!" Dorothy walks around the room

"Mom, we have to ask the doctors, it's been a day and a half!"

"I'm going to the doctor!"

* knock knock*

"Can I come?"

"Of course, something happened?"

"Well, we'd like to know why Jessica's still sleeping. Maybe the bleeding didn't stop." Dorothy says nervously

"Maybe she's bleeding sometimes...."

"But you said you stopped it!"

"But we can't be a hundred percent sure!"

"Then why the hell are you saying my daughter is okay? If the blood didn't stop? If she could die?! You know what, you're the worst, most inexperienced doctor I've ever met! We'll find a more caring doctor, goodbye! I wish you a speedy dismissal!" Dorothy shouts, slamming the door

"Ann, call your father, he's taking us to another hospital!" Dorothy flies into the room, making Ann jump.

"Mom, how are we taking the kids? They were born early, we can't just take them and move them to another hospital!"

'Then....em...you stay here with the babies, and I'm taking Jessica to the tests because these doctors don't know how to do anything, damn it!" Dorothy removes the blanket and sees a bloodstain.

"OMG, my girl!" she starts crying.

"Mom, but how...

"I don't know, sweetheart....I don't know!"

Albert arrived as quickly as he could and with Dorothy's help, he took Jessica to the car, they did not care that people look strange at them, the main thing for them to save their daughter's life.
When they took her to another hospital, the doctor examined her and did his best to stop the bleeding.

"You're lucky it didn't come to surgery! She needs to sleep a few more hours and don't worry the bleeding is stopped at one hundred percent!"

"Oh, thank you very much!" Dorothy speaks with tears in her eyes as she kisses Jessica's hand. Albert couldn't hold back his tears either.

"Oh, she's Mrs. Huston?" he asks and writing something down.

"Yeah, why?"

"Her husband's on the third floor..."

".....and how is he?"

"I don't know and I can't tell you, I'm sorry.....here, this is a special ointment if she gets hurt or if there is any irritation!" he hands them a piece of paper

"Thank you!" Dorothy's smiling.

Jessica slowly opens her eyes, trying to focus her gaze. She slowly turns her head and sees Dorothy, who is just looking at a single point, sitting on a chair.

"M...mom?"Jessica calls with a faint voice

"Oh, Jessie, my sweetie! Thanks God!" Dorothy runs to her and kisses her on the forehead.

"Where are the babies?"

"They're fine, Ann's in the hospital with them!"

"Oh....can I go over there?"

"If your doctor will allow"

"... Agnes...is she okay?"

"Agnes?" Dorothy's surprised

"Yeah...she is the youngest! She's so small, isn't she?" Jessica smiles

"You already have names! Agnes is fine!"

"Great!"

"How are you feeling?"

"My head's a little dizzy, but I'm fine....can my doctor check me now? I want to see my babies!"

"Your father went to get him, honey!"

"Great! But why am I in another hospital?" she frowns.

"Because that doctor is unprofessional person and we took you to a more caring one!"

"Thank you!" she's smiling

"D, I found out...he" Albert walks in and stops when Dorothy looks at him sternly

"Found out what?" Jessica asks.

"Oh, whatever.....I'm glad you're awake, honey!" he smiles as he kisses her on the forehead.

"How are the kids? They know I'm here?"

"No, we didn't want them to worry!"

".....I miss them!"

A few hours passed and Jessica was able to go back to her babies. Alicia, David and Vivian couldn't wait to see their new siblings   and mom.
It was Tuesday and finally the kids could come to the hospital.

"Oh, mom, look, I got their cards!" Jessica comes into the room happy.

"Let me see!"Dorothy puts on her glasses

"Omg! What beautiful names!" Dorothy's smiling

"Yes!....Jane and Anjelica will be happy!"

"Danny will be happy too!"

"Yeah..." Jessica smiles

Children run into the room and hug her.

"My babies! I've missed you so much!" Jessica hugs them, kissing each one on the forehead.

"We've missed you too!"

"Can we look at them?" Alicia's smiling

"Of course!" Jessica giggles and they run to they cribs.

Jessica's just standing there, smiling and watching them talk to the new family members.
