No Happy Ending

Forgive me

".....Jessica I'm sorry! Please forgive me!"

"What are you doing here?!" she speaks annoyed.

"Tony kicked me out! I have nowhere to go!" Miranda cries, stroking her belly

"Huh, why did he kick you out?"

"May I come in?"

"No...."

"It...it's not his baby Jess!" she's starting to cry harder

Jessica looks at her, not saying a word anger growing stronger in her eyes and she grips the door handle.

"You can go to your parents, why you came to me?!" she speaks calmly

"Jess, why are you such a bitch? I'm pregnant!"

"Why are you such a whore?! Go to your Danny, he'll be happy to know that he'll have another baby!" she slams the door and leaning against it, falls to the floor in tears.

Alicia comes down the stairs in tears.

"Mom, I didn't wa....What happened?" she runs up to her.

"Nothing, nothing not happened, honey!" she hugs her, kissing her forehead as  Alicia sits next to her.

"Mom ... are you .... are you pregnant?"She asks, putting her hand on her belly

"What? No, I'm not!" She takes away her hand

"But you almost every half an hour run to the bathroom, then you are very nervous and your so moody!"

"Alicia, I'm not pregnant!" She raises her voice and she raises an eyebrow.

"Oh. My. God! No, no it could not have happened!" Jessica gets off the floor and goes up the stairs

"I'll see how Vivian feels!"

Jessica slightly opens the door and sees that Vivian lies facing the wall, hugging the toy. She sits next to her and strokes her arm and Vivian begins to cry.

"Baby!" Jessica lies next to her and hugs her. Vivien turns around, puts her head on her chest and hugs her.

"Baby, everything will be fine, you can still see your dad, he just will not live with us now ... but he will come to us!" she kisses her  forehead.

"He left because he did ....not love us?!"

"No, he loves you, Alicia and David so much...."

"You said you didn't love him!" she interrupts her, looking in her eyes.

"Oh, Vivian, baby, I loved your dad very much he was my best friend an amazing husband he was everything to me, but he made one big mistake and I can not forgive him for this"

"Can I go to dad's tomorrow?"

"Oh, you're a daddy's girl!" she kisses her nose and she giggles
"Of course you can!"

When Vivian fell asleep, she kissed her and walked out of the room.
Alicia and David were already asleep, and when Jessica walked into the bedroom, her phone started buzzing.

"Hello?"

"Hi, honey" drunk voice said on the other end

"Danny!" she sighs annoyed 

"Can I come over?"

"No, Danny you can't! Tomorrow I'll bring Vivian to you, please don't drink too much, okay?!" she speaks strictly.

"I...I won't! Miranda came to see me!"

"I don't want to talk about it, Danny! Please don't call me if I need anything from you I'll call you!"

He does not have time to answer as she she hangs up the phone and falls on the bed, closing her eyes.

The next morning Jessica wakes up from a bad feeling in her stomach, she runs to the bathroom and barely has time to come running in time.

"Oh, shit!" she starts crying, leaning over the toilet.

After, she brushes her teeth and calls the doctor to make an appointment.
"I will hope to the last that this is not what I think..."she thinks to herself.

Jessica made breakfast and leaving a note on the table snd went to the hospital. On the way, she stopped several times, her phone was bursting with Danny's calls, but she put it on silent.

Waiting for her name to be called was the most painful thing for her. When she walked in, the doctor started asking a lot of questions, then she passed the tests except for the pregnancy test and had only to wait.

"Maybe you want to do a pregnancy test?" the nurse asks her. Jessica looks at her like she's crazy.

"Me?..I think so..." she answers with a shaking voice

"Don't worry, Mrs. Huston!"

Jessica takes her test and goes to the bathroom. After, she was again waiting in the room, examining the posters on the wall and cutlery on the table, nervously tapping a finger on her purse.

The doctor comes in with a smile on his face and sits down at the table.

"Well, Mrs. Huston, your results are very good...."
"Please tell me this is my period." she thinks to herself, knowing the answer will be different.

".....and you're pregnant!"
