No Happy Ending

I love you, dad!

When the kids fell asleep, Jessica took a shower and was going to go to bed, but the knock on the door distracted her.

"Danny, you can come in!" she says putting cream on her hands.

"Can I talk to you?"

"Yes"

Danny sits on the edge of the bed and a few seconds looking at his wife, without saying a word.

"And?"

"Damn, you're so beautiful even without makeup and with messy hair!" he smiles

"If you're here to tell me that, you better leave now!"

"No, I came here to tell you how sorry I am. I acted like a total idiot and I hate myself for it! Please Jessie, babe, please forgive me!" he takes her hand.

"Danny, stop it! First, don't call me babe, second of all, we can be friends...maybe.... it's hard for me to look at you and not think about how you slept with another woman! And now good night, I'm so tired today!" she's slowly pulling a blanket on her.

Danny gets out of bed and looks at her.

"Sorry!.....but...can I kiss you?"

"No!"

"On the cheek! I couldn't ask for more"

"But only on the cheek, Huston!"

Danny bends over to her and gently kisses her cheek, and Jessica closes her eyes, then he smiled and they look each other in the eye. They are so close to each other that they do not have quite a bit to kiss each other. Jessica lowers her head and Danny rises.

"Goodnight!" he smiles and leaves the room.

7 am

The house was full of noise and everyone was late as every morning. Jessica was making a quick breakfast, Alicia was running around the house looking for her headphones, David was sitting on the couch laughing at her because he knew where it was, and Vivien was just running around the room screaming.

"Vivian, sweetie, don't run around the room, Alicia why do you need headphones at school? David give her the headphones!" Jessica comes out of the kitchen

"Did you take my headphones?!"

"Please stop it! Vivien, be careful! Vase!" she takes the vase.

"Morning!" Danny's coming down the stairs.

"Daddy!" Vivien hugs him
Alicia goes up to her room, and David shakes his hand.

"Could you do that every day so they wouldn't do it?"

"Sure!"Danny laughs.

He walks into the kitchen and swings his hand to slap Jessica's butt as he did before, but then suddenly he wakes up and just sits down at the table.
Jessica put the plates of food on the table and David went down to the kitchen

"Where's your sister?"

"I'm here!" Vivien smiles.

"Honey, I see! Where Is Alicia?"

"She doesn't want to eat breakfast!"

Jessica takes off her apron to go and talk to her, but Danny gets up from the table.

"I'll talk to her!"

"Can I come in!" Danny looks in the room

"No!"

"Kitty, listen to me" he goes into the room and closes the door.

"I don't want to listen to you! And don't call me that anymore, I don't want you to do it! We were so close, and you ruined everything!" she started crying .
Danny hugs her and she puts her head on his chest.

"You said you'd never hurt us, you promised we'd be the happiest!"
Tears roll down his cheeks and he hugs her tight.

"I know a simple forgive won't fix what I did, but I'm gonna do anything to get you back! I love you and your mother very much! And I try to get your trust back!"

"I love you, dad!"

"I love you more, sunshine!" he kisses her cheek

"Kitty!" she smiles

"I love you, kitty!"

"Promise me you won't leave!"

"I promise! And I will never hurt you again!"
