No Happy Ending

Agnes

/4 years latter/

The triplets are 4 years old, Abby and Leo are always running around together, breaking everything and throwing the blame on Agnes, who has become very quiet and almost never leaves Jessica.
Alicia moved to LA to study, David stayed to study in Minnesota. Vivian was still dad's daughter, and she spent a lot of time with Danny. Jessica went back to work and everything went back to normal.

"Mom! Mom! Mom!" Abby and Leo are running around the living room

"What? What? What?" she catches them and sits on their knees and they laugh.

"Why isn't Agnes running with us?" Abby looks at her as she sits on the couch and plays with dolls.

"Well, because she knows you can't run around the house!" Jessica tickles them

"Don't! Don't!" they're running

"Don't run!"Jessica says sternly .
They stop but then run away when they leave the living room.

"Hey, baby!" Jessica sits on the couch and kisses her forehead. Agnes looks at her, then climbs onto her knees and hugs her around her neck.

"Mommy!"

"That's me!" she giggles, hugging her

"You want to play with Abby and Leo?"

"No! I want to play with you!"she's smiling

"My baby! Mom loves to play with you, but they want to play with you too!"

"No!" she crosses her arms

"Oh, stop it, little bear!" Jessica kisses her  forehead, then tickles and Agnes falls on the couch, laughing

"We're home!" Vivian yells, throwing the bag on the floor

"We?" Jessica stands up from the couch and walks out of the living room. Agnes jumps off the couch as she runs after her mother and hugs her leg.

"Oh, Danny, hi!" she puts her hand on Agnes's head

"Hi! Hi, Agnes!" he sits down on his knees and she slightly waves to him

"Agnes, aren't you glad to see daddy?" Jessica giggles

"Mommy!"Agnes hugs her leg tighter

"Oh, daddy missed you! Give him a hug!"

"Mommy!"

"It's ok!" Danny giggles

"DADDY!" Abby and Leo run to him

"Hey!" he hugs them

"Mom, can we go with daddy?" Abby smiles sweetly.

"Please, please!" Leo jumps

"If daddy has time!"

"Daddy always glad to find time for his babies!" Danny smiles and they scream

"Agnes, are you going with daddy?"

She shakes her head"no"  and hugs Jessica

"Oh, Agnes!" she sighs and picks her up.

"Agnes, you want to see the bear?" Danny asks.

"Like my Teddy?" she's looking at him

"Yeah, like your Teddy, honey!"

"Ok!" she smiles and reaches for him.

"Yay!" Danny takes her and kisses her cheek

In the evening Vivian went to a friend and David went to a party. Jessica didn't want to be alone and she and Christina went to the bar

"So, how's your sex life?" Christina takes a sip of whiskey

Jessica closes her eyes and scrunches her nose.

"Then we have to find you some nice guy!"

"Christina, it's too late for me to find anyone!" Jessica laughs.

"Wait here!"Christina gets up from her chair and goes to the other end of the bar.

"Christina!" Jessica laughs, then turns as someone puts his hand on her shoulder

"Hello, beautiful!" a man in a suit sits next to her.

"Well, Hello!" she leans on her hand

"Can I buy you a drink?"

"Okay!" she smiles and the phone call interrupts them.

"Excuse me" Jessica's answering her phone

"Danny?"

"Jess....Agnes.."Danny says holding back tears

"What? What happened to her?!" Jessica says in a panic.

"She's in the hospital, Jess!" he's crying

"Danny, what's wrong with my baby?!" her heart starts pounding and she starts crying.

"I don't know..."
