No Happy Ending

I'm pregnant!

Half a month later
Jessica's birthday.

"Mom! Mommy!" Vivien whispers in her ear.

"Hm?! Viv, what happened?Jessica opens her eyes

"Happy birthday!" they yells
Jessica sits on the bed and hugs the children

"Thank you so much! Now, this is the best morning!" she giggles

"We made you breakfast!" David smiles.

"And little gifts!"

"Oh, I didn't need gift! For me you are the main gifts!"

David leaves the room and returns with a large flat box.

"We draw it ourselves!" David smiles while he opens the box and pulls out a large family portrait.
Jessica smiles through her tears and hugs them

"Thank you! This is the best gift!" she kisses each of them, then examines the portrait.

Jessica's getting ready for a party that starts in a few minutes. She wore a black skirt and a white blouse. Making a classic makeup, she stands in front of the mirror and corrects her hair.

"Can I come in?" Danny looks into the room.

"Yeah"

"You look amazing! This is for you!" he puts a gold necklace around her neck.

"Thank You!" she smiles and he hugs her by the waist.

"Danny, don't!" she's taking his hands off her.

"What happened?"

"Nothing, just don't touch me, ok...?" she puts her hand on her stomach and closes her eyes.

"Jess?"

She lifts the front of his face hand, giving to understand that he needs to shut up.

"Is everything okay?" he asks when she opens her eyes.

"Yeah, I just don't feel very well!"

"Maybe you should get some medicine."

"No, I'm fine! Now leave me alone!"

"Jessica...."

Danny sighs deeply and leaves, and she runs into the bathroom.

Jessica laughs and takes a glass of wine from the table.

"Oh, I forgot!" Miranda gets a little box out of her purse

"It's from Sam!"

"Sam?!"Jessica opens it and pulls out a silver bracelet.

"Yeah! You know, I think he likes you!" Miranda winks

"Bullshit"

"We'll see! By the way, how are things going with Danny?" Miranda asks nervously

"We sleep in different rooms, don't worry!"

"Good! And beautiful necklace!"

The party turned out great, all the guests had fun. When everyone started to go home, Jessica and Miranda sat in the kitchen drinking wine. Alicia and David were already in their rooms, and Vivien fell asleep on Jessica's lap.

"Jess, she's like you!" Miranda giggles

"I know!" Jessica hugs her daughter, kissing her on the forehead.

"My little princess!"

"Mommy?"

"Be quiet, I'm sleeping!"

"Why don't we go to bed then?"

"No!" she says.

"Ok!" Jessica puts her in a comfortable place and hugs her again.

"I think I'm pregnant!" Miranda smiles.

"What? Are you serious?!"

"Yes, but I don't know for sure!"

"What are you waiting for! I have a pregnancy test! Let's go!"

"Jessica, why do you need a pregnancy test?"

"Well....I live with Danny!" Jessica stands up from the couch

"Jessica?!"

"Just kidding"they go to the bathroom. Vivien wakes up.

"Sorry, honey!" Jessica giggles.

Miranda took a test and leaving it on the edge of the bath then out into the bedroom. Jessica is lying with Vivien on the bed with her eyes closed.

"What if it's positive?" Miranda sits on the bed

"Then it's amazing, you and Tony have been working on it for a long time! Imagine how happy he will be when you tell him!" Jessica hugs her friend.

"Now, I want it to be positive!" she giggles

"Then go see the result!" Jessica speaking loudly

"Mom, be quiet!" Vivien closes with a pillow .

Miranda goes out of the bathroom, holding the test in her hands and tears roll down her cheeks.

"Jess!....I'm pregnant!"

"Yeah! OMG, honey, it's so great!" Jessica hugs her and they cry.

"I'll be a mom, I'll have a baby, Jess!"

"Yeah! YAY!"
