No Happy Ending

It's a...!

The next morning Jessica woke up earlier than Danny. She tried quietly and deftly to get out of bed and put on her robe then went into the bathroom.

When she came out of the bathroom, Danny was still sleeping. Jessica smiled, then took the pillow from the chair and threw it at him. Danny slowly turned to the other side.

"Come on, Danny! we have to go to an appointment!" she yells as she shakes him

"I'm up! I'm up!" He sits down on the bed, clearing the sleep from his eyes.

"Get your ass out of bed and get dressed, I'll go make Breakfast!"

"Oh, someone's in a good mood today!" he yawns

"Can't be any better!" Jessica comes out and slams the door.

"Good morning, mom!" Alicia kisses her cheek and sits down at the table.

"Good morning, mom!" David kisses her  cheek and sits next to his sister.

"Good morning, mommy!" Vivian hugs her and sits at the table.

"Good morning to you too!" she giggles while she puts the plates on the table.

"Hope y'all slept well!"

"Like a baby!" Vivian smiles

"Good"

"So, are you ready to find out what the triplets will be?" Alicia puts her hand on her big belly

"Yeah!" Jessica smiles, stroking her belly

"It would be nice if at least one of them was a boy!" David says taking a sip of tea.

"What if they're all girls?"

"Oh god!" he rolls his eyes and they giggle

"I know that somewhere deep down there, you want more sisters!" Jessica hits his hend

"Good morning!" Danny goes into the kitchen and the kids are in shock.

"What are you doing here?"

"Well, your mom wanted to eat at three in the morning, so ..."he sits at the table

"No, it's babies wanted!" she smiles sweetly.

"Sure!"

"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Huston!" the doctor comes in and sits down.

"Good morning!"

"Well, how are you feeling, Mrs. Huston?"

"Well, today I have no pain!" she giggles.

"Ok, then lie down and we'll look at your babies!"
Jessica lays back the doctor puts a Doppler on her belly. Jessica and Danny smile when they hear the babies's heartbeat.

"Your babies are perfectly fine! Now let's find out their gender! You're gonna throw some kind of a party, I mean..."

"Oh, no, we won't!" Jessica interrupts him

"We want to know now!" Danny smiles, holding her hand. The Doctor brings to her stomach ultrasound and looks at the screen.

"Baby A is....a girl, baby B is a boy and baby C is a girl too! Congratulations!"

"Oh, Danny, we're gonna have two daughters and a son!" Jessica smiles through her tears

"Yeah! I can't believe this! Two more princesses and a football player! I can't wait to meet them!" he kisses her hand and smiles happily

"Oh, you're sweet!"
