T'Challa x Reader: Taking Back the Kingdom

   Y/N'S POV

  Shuri chuckled and said,"Y/N, your hair looks fine. I told you the silver makes it look unique."

  I said,"Thanks, Shuri. So, what are we going to do?"

  Shuri motioned over to Agent Ross and replied,"We're going to get back my brother's kingdom. Together."

  I explained to Shuri, more nervous than anything else,"Shuri, I..I don't know. I don't have the best combat skills-"

  Shuri cut me off by saying,"But you have agility. Strength unlike any other. I know no one really knows what you're capable of, Y/N, and that's fine, but Wakanda needs you. I need your help."

  I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair, but Shuri slapped my hand.

  I chuckled and said,"All right, girl. Let's go get back our kingdom. And Nakia?"

  "You know I wouldn't miss this."

  Nakia walked up beside me and I smiled at her, before she asked me,"What will you bring to the table, Y/N?"

  I smirked and said,"You just wait, Nakia. You just wait.."

  Shuri said to Nakia,"Hey, are you trying to take my best friend?"

  Nakia laughed and shook her head, then we all headed out. Agent Ross was the exception. He stayed behind, but I made sure to wish him luck.
  I knew whatever Shuri had him doing was vital to taking back the kingdom from Erik. When Nakia, Shuri, and I made it outside, we witnessed what was going on.

  Erik noticed us and he smirked at me, yet I just rolled my eyes. Nakia, Shuri, and I stayed together fighting W'Kabi's tribe.
  W'Kabi's tribe put up a fight, and I knew our women warriors could do better.

  Erik walked up to us in his Panther suit before he asked me,"What could you possibly know about fighting?"

  Shuri said,"Show him, Y/N."

  When T'Challa arrived, that was when the atmosphere changed.
  I looked over at Shuri, and then back at Erik.

  Erik said,"I figured I'd go ahead and take care of y'all first, but Y/N..I know you won't be a challenge. Not for me."

  Erik rushed towards me and I stood my ground, until he made it to me. He threw a punch at ne, but I blocked it.
By Erik's face, he was stunned. I absorbed the energy from his hit and sent it back into Erik.

  Erik flew back and I said,"Who said I couldn't get the job done? Who said I was weak?"

  The angrier I became; the more energy I felt. The more motivated I became to stop Erik from taking T'Challa's kingdom.
  Erik rushed back towards me and I jumped over him, knocking him into one of the platforms. However, Erik grabbed my leg and threw me back into one of the rocks.

  My head was spinning and I slowly stood back up, and I fell right back down.

  Erik grabbed me and said,"That pride, girl. It's too strong. You weren't meant for this sort of thing. Maybe you should be at home. Cleaning."

  That..That was all I needed to hear..

  I dug my heel into Erik's foot and he screamed in pain, then I pulled his arms behind his back.

  The second I went to do something, T'Challa ended up cutting in.

  I threw my hands up and yelled,"REALLY, T'CHALLA?? Man..I wanted to finish him."

  T'Challa yelled back while fighting Erik,"I GOT IT!! I HELPED YOU OUT!!"

  I rolled my eyes and saw Okoye holding her sphere towards W'Kabi. Now this, I wanted to see..
  They exchanged words, but it must have been a game changer because W'Kabi and all his men stood down.

  I smirked and yelled,"YOU GO, OKOYE! SHOW THEM WHO'S BOSS!!"

  Okoye heard me and smiled at me, then I remembered about T'Challa. I rushed over to where I last saw Erik and T'Challa, but then I looked down.
  I saw the two of them fighting and Shuri had turned on the train. I jumped down and landed right on top of Erik, which resulted in him pushing me off.

  T'Challa immediately lunged for Erik and I noticed where T'Challa's eyes went. It landed on a sharp object, but I wasn't sure what it was. I grabbed it and got close to Erik, before I stuck it inside his chest.

  Erik looked at me and said,"Not bad, girl. N..Not bad."

  T'Challa rested his hand on my shoulder and when it was over, I went to Shuri about my head.
  She was able to give me something to help it, but it would take a minute.

  T'Challa walked in the room and asked Shuri,"May I speak to Y/N alone, Shuri?"

  Shuri replied,"No, you may not, brother. We were talking. Come back later."

  I chuckled and Shuri said,"Okay. Okay. I'll leave."

  Shuri left out and T'Challa walked up to me, slowly.

  I said,"T'Challa, I really appreciated you.."

  T'Challa placed his lips on my own. To that, I immediately stopped talking. I kissed back and T'Challa held on.

  I slowly pulled away and leaned back in, but I asked T'Challa,"Do I get to be queen now?"

  T'Challa chuckled and looked me in the eyes saying,"We'll get there, but you have to earn it, Y/N."

  I sent him a look and defended myself saying,"I helped get your kingdom back!! I have earned it!!"

  T'Challa began to walk out and said,"It doesn't work like that, Y/N."

  I sighed and groaned in frustration. I would get to him. Eventually..
