T'Challa x Reader x Erik Killmonger: Setting T'Challa's Rage

     Y/N'S POV

   "Shuri, have you seen my boyfriend?"

   Shuri chuckled and said,"Bucky? T'Challa's handsome friend?"

   I laughed myself and replied,"No, Shuri, but he is cute. I noticed that. I'm sure he has someone. I was actually talking about T'Challa."

   Shuri motioned back towards the throne room and informed me of his meeting with the council. I thanked her and walked towards the outside of the kingdom, but I felt someone behind me.
I turned, and Erik stood behind me. After what he did to T'Challa, I always felt a little uneasy around Erik.

   Erik said,"Hey, baby girl. How are you?"

   I just tried not to make eye contact with Erik and quickly replied,"Uh, hi. I..I'm good. I gotta go."

   Erik grabbed my arm and held it tightly.

   I bit my lip and Erik said,"Don't you walk away from me, Y/N. I will find a way to get your beloved boyfriend off that throne. Trust me on that."

   I rolled my eyes and pushed Erik's hand away, but that was when his hand collided with my left cheek. I fell to the ground, and Erik stood over me.

   He said,"Who told you to act all high and mighty on me? Your boyfriend's not around right now. He isn't right by your side, so you can't talk to me however you want to."

   I wanted to hit Erik back, but I knew he had strength over me, and it would escalate very quickly.
   In a matter of seconds, my cheek began to sting, and tears formed in my eyes from the pain. I was sure there would be a bruise there in a couple of hours, even minutes. Who knew, but there would be one one way or another.

   Erik threatened me with,"And if you go crying to your boyfriend, I will hurt him and you know I can. You remember what happened when I challenged him. I'm sure you don't want that again. You seemed pretty upset. Just remember that."

   I slowly got up and rested my hand over my cheek, which earned me looks from some of the Wakandan warriors.
  When I made it to my room, I immediately headed into the bathroom and did the best I could to tend to my cheek.

   Tears poured down my face and that was when I began to cry. I headed to my bed and sat on it, bringing my hand back up to my cheek. I wanted to run to T'Challa and tell him, but I was afraid Erik would do something if he saw.

    T'CHALLA'S POV

   Shuri had informed me that Y/N was looking for me earlier, while I had met with the council. They were concerned about the future of Wakanda and its resources, but I did my best to ease their concern.
   I couldn't find Y/N in her normal spot, which was near one of Wakanda's signature waterfalls. She liked to go there to think or just get a view of the sunsets.

   Luckily, for me, I ran into Erik.

   Erik rested his hands behind his back and said to me,"You know, T'Challa, your girlfriend, she's something. You need to remind her of who's in charge around here."

   I walked up to Erik and narrowed my eyes at him saying,"Oh, she's aware of who is in charge around here and she knows her place. She knows where she is supposed to be. If she overstepped someone like you, I'm sure it was out of good reason. If you go near Y/N again.."

   Erik chuckled and said,"What will you do? Challenge me? We see how that went, didn't we?"

   I brushed Erik's shoulder and entered the kingdom. I had hoped Erik didn't do anything to Y/N, but I became worried when I overheard her cries from inside her bedroom. I knocked on her door and waited for her to get it.

    Y/N'S POV

   My hands were shaking, and I became afraid Erik would hurt me again.
When I heard a knock on my door, I stayed quiet and closed my eyes.

   "Y/N, it's T'Challa."

   I immediately rushed to the door and opened it, embracing my boyfriend.

   T'Challa immediately hugged me back and he asked me,"Y/N, what is it? Why are you upset?"

   I continued to cry and T'Challa cupped my face, pulling away from the hug.
T'Challa stroked both my cheeks, but then his attention was drawn to my left cheek.

   He softly ran his thumb across it and asked me,"Oh, my love, how did this happen? Did you hurt yourself? Did you fall?"

   I shook my head and said,"I..I can't tell you, T'Challa. I..I can't."

   T'Challa shook his head and demanded to me,"My love, tell me how this happened right now. I want to know what happened..."

   I was too afraid to lose T'Challa again, so I kept my mouth shut. T'Challa rushed out of the room and I immediately went after him, but he asked Shuri to bring up footage from right in front of the kingdom.

   I didn't even know the kingdom had cameras..

   T'Challa immediately analyzed all the footage, until I saw the one where Erik hit me. T'Challa's brown eyes immediately filled with rage, and he went to find Erik.
I tried to get him to stop, but T'Challa would ignore me. When we found Erik, T'Challa immediately punched him across the face and grabbed him.

   T'Challa said,"Y/N, go back inside the kingdom."

   I went to argue, but T'Challa sent me a look. I walked back inside and joined Shuri. That was when she pulled up footage of T'Challa going off on Erik.

   Shuri noticed me contemplating on whether to go back to T'Challa, but she grabbed my hand and said,"Let it happen, Y/N, just let it happen."
