I made a good impression on the Club's Executive Chef, Stephen today! One of my new responsibilities has been typing and printing the daily dinner menus for the various on-property restaurants. Feeling especially creative, I added a few whirligigs and a fancy font to the template for the menus. Stephen made it a point to stop by my desk and mention how impressed he is with my updates and that I was able to make sense of his chicken-scratch handwriting. That was the good news. The bad news is that he then proceeded to say that he wanted me to type them from now on because the person who did them before "always made mistakes." By the banging and slamming of innocent office supplies behind my desk, I can guess who used to type them.
I suppose that's one more strike for me in Angela's book. Oh well, if I'm going to do something, I'm going to give it my all. She might as well get used to that because I'm not planning on going anywhere.
