Chapter 39

Bre

I am now 8 months and I'm ready for this baby to get out of me. Like real shit. But today Narah wanted to have family time so thats what we are having. So we are all outside just playing games and having fun.

"Alright Narah its me and you against daddy and MyKey." I said smiling.

"ALRIGHT YA READYYYY! GO!" Mateo yelled and threw the football as MyKey caught it and Narah chased after him.

"THATS RIGHT BABY BOY!" Mateo yelled as MyKey passed me and made a touchdown. Narah pouted.

"Its alright baby girl we gone get em next time." I said smiling and she nodded.

Mateo had the ball and this time he threw it a little to high and to far and it went in the street. MyKey ran off.

"MYKEY NO ILL GET IT!" Me and Teo yelled. We both basically walked over there to get it and the kids followed. Teo got the ball and we started to walk back except for Mykey.

Then I realized MyKey was in the street staring at something. I walked in to the street to see a car coming full speed.

"MYKEY GET OUT THE STREET!" I yelled but that wasn't enough so I ran well speed walked and pushed him out the way then I instantly felt my body become numb.

"BREEEEEEE!" I heard Mateo yell.

"M-mommy are you ok?" MyKey asked looking scared. I smiled and turned my head a bit.

"I love you baby always remember that ok give me a kiss." I said and he kissed me. Then Teo ran to me.

"Bre please, please keep your eyes open baby." He cried I smiled as tears came down knowing I couldn't. Narah looked so scared.

"I love you both, gimme kiss." I said smiling. Narah kissed me with tears and Teo just stared at me. I felt my baby kick knowing its going to be the last time I feel it.

Then Teo kissed me so softly.

"I love you so much, please don't leave me." He whispered and right after that everything completely went dark.

Mateo

Watching her body hit that ground made me go crazy. So much blood was coming out of her I couldn't take it and this time I knew she was gone forever.

"Please Bre you can't leave me not just yet we haven't got married yet you can't you can't." I sobbed. I looked at Narah and she was crying.

"Go get the phone and call your uncle Leloo now." I said and she ran off.

30 minutes later

I sat in the hospital waiting room crying my eyes out. Everyone tried to comfort me but it just made it worse.

"MAATEEEOOO!!" I heard I looked up slowly and seen Mel with tears.

"I-is she o-ok p-please tell me she Is?" Mel asked.

"The doctor said they are doing everything they can but their struggling." Ayo said walking up to us.

"I can't take this anymore I can't." I cried and I just kept crying I couldn't stop.

Hours have past and still no sign of a doctor nothing. I'm scared half to death. Something in my gut kept saying she didnt make it including our baby.

Then a doctor walked up to all of us. He was a bloody mess. He had a look that he accomplish something but at the same time he looked disappointed.

"Family of Bre Sandra's." He called out. We all got up and walked to him. He sighed. "I have good news and bad news." He said.

"The good news first." I mumbled.

"The good news is Bre gave birth to a baby girl and she's healthy." He said. I smiled.

"And the bad news." I mumbled again scared to find out. The doctor sighed and had an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry but Bre didn't make it, we tried everything we can but she didnt pull through, I'm sorry for your lost." He said. Hearing that made me go nuts the love of my life is Dead.

"WHAT THE HELL!" I yelled and punched the wall. No no no this can't be true it can't be.

"TEO CALM DOWN SHE'S IN A BETTER PLACE NOW!" Ayo yelled grabbing me I started crying hard. I pushed away from him shaking my head.

"NO NO NO SHE NEED TO BE HERE WITH ME!" I yelled running down to her room. Dont asked me how I know.

Omniscient

In the waiting room the girls sobbed loudly as the boys sat quietly. Even all the stuff Bre have been through they wouldn't have thought her time would've been so soon.

"Here is the birth certificate for the father." The doctor Said as he handed it to Ayo. He nodded his head as everyone walked to Bre room.

Mateo sat quietly crying holding Bre hand. He cried and cried until he couldn't any more.

"Why did you have to leave me so soon?" He asked quietly crying. He kissed her hand and laid his head down.

"Mateo you have to sign the birth certificate and give baby girl a name." Ayo said walking in the room. I nodded and grabbed it and signed it.

"Here is your daughter, what would you like to name her?" The doctor asked walking in the room.

"Nadiah Breasha Bowles." Mateo said as the doctor handed little Nadiah to him.

"Breasha thats cute." Mel said.

"Thats Bre's real name." Mateo mumbled.

"Are you serious? I though Bre was her real name." Jaz said.

"No her parents were the only one that called her Breasha. She only let them call her that. After her parents died she didn't want to here the name Breasha ever again and she made sure of that." Mateo mumbled. Staring into Nadiah big eyes.

"When one life is taken another is born. We lost someone but gained another. We will never forget Bre until the day we die." Keke said and cracked a little smile.

"We will live on for Bre and for us."

"We will."
