Mark's POV
Dear Markiplier,
You have 48 hours to send one million dollars to the account below or else.
I picked the paper up and read it a million times, Amy was crying in the nursery. the police were on their way but it has been 25 minutes and they have not shown yet. Our baby can be anywhere.
"I should have stayed in her room, I should have watched her sleep." Amy cried out.
I ran to her placing the note back on the table. I wrapped her in my arms,
"This is not your fault, The person to blame is the one who took our child. the police should be here soon. I don't care if I have to empty the bank account. we WILL get her back."
Finally, the police showed up,
"Everything is going to be okay, we will find your child." The officer said. " Who has touched the note?"
"Just me," I said pointing to the note on the table.
"Okay, we will have the lab test all the fingerprints to find who took her. what do you guys remember?"
" I put her to bed at her normal time for a nap then I went into the kitchen to make dinner," Amy said. "After her normal nap time, I went to go check on her to feed her. when I got into her room I saw the crib empty and screamed. Mark came running in and saw the note on the changing table."
The cops looked at me and I told where I was,
"After she was put down for a nap I went into the recording room so I could get a few videos done. I was in there until Amy screamed. I came running in and saw the note on the changing table."
"Was there anyone else who had access to her room?"
"No, we are the only ones here," I said still holding onto Amy. I have to be strong for her. "Officer, what is the next step? I will pay whatever needs to so we can have her back safe."
"Right now we are doing a full investigation and when we find anything out we will let you know."
"What happens if you don't find anything and the 48 hours pass?" Amy asked.
"Don't worry we will find her before then." they took some more information down and left.
I switched the money over to the main account just in case they don't find her in time. I can't lose her.
"Mark it has been hours since they left, they haven't called us."
"I know, we have to trust them. This is their job."
"What if they don't find her in time?"
"They will." We didn't know what to do or say.
We just want her back safe.
