Amy's pov
"Come on, we are going to be late!" I said calling up the steps.
"Coming!"
I watched my 6-year-old daughter run down the steps with her bookbag in her hand.
"Shoes?" I asked.
She dropped her book bag then ran back up the steps to get her shoes.
"One day, can we be on time one day?" I shook my head as she ran back down the steps.
I helped her with her hair as she put her shoes on.
"You will have to eat breakfast in the car," I said handed her a few breakfast bars then got my keys. "Let's go."
I got her in her seat buckling her in, I jumped into the driver seat starting the car.
"You ready to go to school baby?" I asked looking in the rear-view mirror.
"Yay!" She clapped her hands laughing.
"Let's go!"
I put my seatbelt on but was stopped by my passenger side window shattering, a man pointed a gun at me then got into the car.
"Drive." He said keeping the gun pointed at me.
I finished putting my seatbelt on then pulled out of our driveway.
"Where to?" I kept my voice calm.
"I'll tell you when to turn."
After about 30 minutes of following his orders he had me pull into an old warehouse.
"Stay here." He said then got out of the car.
He opened the door and pulled Abigail out of the car.
"Please, don't hurt her. I have done everything you asked." I started to cry.
"I don't have any intent to hurt her, but just in case you forget that she will be staying with me. Now get out of the car."
I rushed out of the car, Abigail was being strong, she held in her tears and listen to the big scary man.
"Walk with me." He said as we followed him into the warehouse.
When we got in there, he hit me in the back of the head with his gun, the last thing I heard was my daughter screaming.
When I came too, I was lying on the floor with my hands tied in front of me. I need to find Abigail.
"Momma." Her voice was low.
I looked in the direction of her voice to find her sitting in a chair, her legs and arms were tied.
"Honey are you okay?" She was trying to be strong again.
She nodded her head yes.
"How long have I been out?"
"Long, the scary man said you lost a lot of blood."
"Momma will be okay, where is the scary man?"
She looked to her left at the door.
"How long ago did he go in there?"
"A while, I think he stole our car."
"That's okay honey, he can have it as long as you are safe."
"I'm scared, momma."
"I know honey, but it's going to be okay."
There were some thudding noises that came from the room, the door flew open.
