I opened the message
Hey, it is totally okay, I just got in from work. I pulled a double today. How are you?"
My finger started to type before I could even process what was happening.
Kinda tired but I really don't want to go to bed yet. I just got done with a test for class. Where do you work at?
What am I doing? How is he not mad at me for texting so late at night? What hasn't Peggy bothered me at all tonight to text him?

I bet you aced that test, I work at an animal shelter down the street. I have been there for a few years now it is so nice to see these animals find their forever home.

"OMG, Tell me EVERYTHING!" She put her stuff in the back than ran to me.
"We texted for a little last night, he works at an animal shelter and he loves space."
"Is anyone else hearing the wedding bells or just me?" She was dancing.
"Peggy! stop! he is going to come in some time today, I don't want him to think I told everyone!"
