Mark's pov
"Are you going to be okay for the few days that we will be gone?" Sean asked as I threw a few shirts into my overnight bag.
"Yeah, the pack knows how to take care of themselves, and it's just for a few days. We need to get some more meat for the pack."
"I know, its just that we never left the pack for a week."
"I know, trust me I am freaking out a little but I know that they will be fine. I need to get away from all of the crazy drama here and we need more meat. A nice hunting trip is just want I need."
"The others who are going on this trip need it too, I can't wait to get some dirt under my paws."
"Go pack." I laughed, "We are all leaving in less then an hour."
He walked out of the room leaving me to finish pack for our week trip. I know that the pack will be fine. And if they need anything they will call me on the phone or in my mind.
After I was all packed I headed down to the rest of the wolves going. It didn't take long for us to throw our stuff in the truck.
"Why can't I run to the cabins?" Ethan asked for the 100th time.
"Because not everyone here is a wolf, and if they see a wolf running in the woods they will try to hunt you." Tyler told him rolling his eyes.
"It is safer for all of us to go by car." I said.
"When can I get out to run?" Ethan looked at me.
"When it is safe. Now get in the car or we are leaving you."
We piled into the car then headed off.
"I feel like we are in a clown car." Sean said as I drove us across the bridge.
"There are only four of us." I laughed.
"Yeah, but it reeks of Alphas."
"And your point?"
"I just want to be there."
"We have only been in the car for 10 minutes. We still have a while to go. Take a nap."
I turned the music up trying to drown them out as they complained the whole drive. My wolf started to stir as well, he wants to run. He has been held up for weeks now and needs to stretch. Stupid humans coming over trying to destroy the woods. It took a while to chase them out of our land.
Finally after three hours of driving we reached the cabins.
"Okay, after you take your bags out of the car and put them in your cabin, go run free." I said opening the truck.
Sean, Tyler and Ethan bolted out of the car getting their things.
"Dang, I should have made this trip sooner." I laughed watching them run to their cabins.
I took my bag and walked over to my home for the next week.
As I was inside I was able to hear them changing, it sounds horrible but it feels like heaven. My wolf started to growl wanting to be free.
"Down boy, we are going out now." I said throwing my stuff on the couch.
I let him take over, it is easy to do with how much he wants to come out. I took a deep breath letting my body switch to my wolf form. My hands and legs turned into my paws, a tail appeared on my butt as I shook my head feeling the air in my fur.
I let out a loud howl then took off with the rest of the group into the woods to run around.
We stayed in our wolf forms for most of the night, we had to change to make food.
