Amy's Pov"Good morning," Mark said wrapping his arm around me pulling me closer to him.
"Do we have to get out of bed?"
"Not at all." He kissed the top of my head then acted like he was sleeping.
"As much as I want to lay here, the pups need to go out."
Right on cue Chica and Henry jumped on our bed tails wagging.
"Okay, I get the hint." Mark laughed.
We got up and headed downstairs, Mark made coffee as I let them out into the backyard. After a few moments, Chica was at the door but Henry wasn't.
"Henry boy! Where are you?" I walked outside looking for him.
"Found him," Mark said walking next to me, he pointed to a huge mud puddle that Henry was playing in.
"AWE, He wanted to go to the spa," I said laughing.
I walked over and got the hose and hooked it up, Mark tried to stop Chica from joining Henry but Chica is faster than Mark.
"I can hose them both off."
"I will get the towels, so we don't have two wet dogs running around the house." Mark heading into the house.
"Look how cute you guys are!" I took my phone out and took pictures and video of them.
When Mark came out I put my phone away and aimed the hose at him.
"No, I only got enough towels for the dogs."
"Looks like we are sharing." I turned the hose on and aimed at him, Chica and Henry saw the water and started to chase is. I chased Mark with the water, so it looked like they were chasing him.
"You think you're so funny." He said grabbing the hose from my grasp and spraying me.
Henry thought he was hurting me, so he started to Bark and growl at Mark.
"Everything is okay Bubba. We are all just playing." I said turning the water off. I got the hose off of Mark and turned the water back on cleaning the pups.
After everyone was clean we dried them off and let them run loose in the house.
"Now we need to be dried off," Mark said looking at me.
"I'm making a run for it." I ran into the house running up the steps to the master bathroom.
I heard Henry barking behind me, I turned around and saw him barking at Mark.
"Silly boy, everything is okay." I said petting him "What has gotten into you today Bubba?"
Mark handed me a towel.
"Thanks." I dried myself off as Mark did the same to himself.
"Coffee is ready, do you want me to make eggs or French toast?" Mark asked as we walked into the kitchen.
"French toast please!"
"Coming right up."
I grabbed the brush and started to brush Henry's coat, but he kept nipping at the brush.
"I need to brush you, stop doing that!"
Henry laid down covering his face with his paws.
"I know you don't like this, but you decided to go playing in the mud." I started to brush him again. He let out a loud sigh but let me brush him.
Once he was done Chica walked over and sat down for me.
"See, your sister knows she needs it done," I said to Henry who was walking away from us.
"Chica is just like her dad, a show-off," Mark said laughing.
"Remember you said it," I told him.
After Chica was brushed I swept up the floor.
"Breakfast is all done," Mark said handing me my coffee.
"Thank you!"
I took my plate and we went outside and ate in the back yard.
"It's such a nice day out," Mark said.
"A nice day to do nothing."
"Nope, all my videos are caught up."
"And all my pottery is done, for now."
After we ate we cleaned up breakfast then laid around the house watching tv. Chica and Henry played a little but they ended up sleeping on the floor.
**later that night**
"Wanna watch a movie?" Mark asked.
"Sure."
I moved over next to him under the blanket and wrapped my arms around him. Mark put on a scary movie. Halfway through the movie, I was hiding under the blanket.
"You okay?" Mark asked.
"Yeah, just a little scared."
Henry jumped off of the couch and started to bark at the villain on tv.
"Get em Henry! He is scaring Amy." Mark said laughing.
Henry walked closer to the tv still barking at it.
"You are scaring him away! Good boy!" Mark was still laughing.
Henry lunges at the tv, thankfully it is high up and he wasn't able to knock it over.
"Henry boy!" I rushed over to him checking on him.
"Good boy! You scared him away!" Mark sat up.
Henry was wagging his tail smiling at his job of scaring the tv villain away.
"It doesn't look like he is hurt even though he hit the tv stand," I said carrying him back to the couch.
I wrapped him in the blanket with us and laid back down on top of Mark. Chica jumped up with us and we snuggled together watching the rest of the scary movie. Henry fell asleep on my lap a few minutes later.
