Penny's POV

( a day later)

I never really saw Teresa come back home last night.

I stayed up till 1 o'clock in the morning cause I couldn't sleep. I never heard our front door open and then close.

Yes, I know she's 19 now and practically an adult (I still find it weird how mom only allows us to have boyfriends when were 20. Like C'mon, seriously?) but...she could've at least told mom about her boyfriend. What exactly does she have to hide from him.

Well, unless he was a "bad boy" and had tons of tattoos and piercings. I would understand why Teresa would be hiding a boy like that.

But what if he wasn't like that?

What did she have to hide from him?

When I woke up, I found her in he room. Asleep. She was still in her clothes from yesterday. I felt really suspicious right now.

There were so many possibilities on what she and her boyfriend did last night:

A. Went on a regular date that was mysteriously long.

B. they got stuck in traffic

C. He took her home, they frickle frackled, she realized the time, and she drove home.

Oh my god Penny you took option C a little bit too far.

But anyways.

I knocked on her door to wake her up. It was 10 in the morning, not too early, not too late.

All she did was groan.

I knocked louder.

"Go away" she threatened in her morning voice. For your information, her morning voice is not very pretty.

"Tell me what happened last night," I said. "And who is your boyfriend?"

Teresa hesitantly got up and sat down on her bed, closing her eyes for a few seconds.

"A-are you gonna answer or-"

"Why should I tell you what happened last night?" She said.

"Well, I need to know the deets," I said. I'm not sure if I said 'deets' in the right way.

"What the fuck," was all Teresa said. I gave her the 'eye' for swearing.

"Oh please, you do it too," she said, and got up to fix her appearance.

I was immediately offended. But then I realized she was right.

"Whatever." Was all I said.

"What did u do last night?" She asked me.

My face flushed. 'Well I told mom about your secret boyfriend' I thought.

"Well?" She said, looking at me.

"I watched TV," I said. That wasn't a lie.

"That's it?" She asked.

I wanted to say yes. "No," I said.

God dammit I hate myself.

"What else happened?" She asked.

"I helped mom fold laundry.. THATS ALL I DID," i ended up saying.

Why the hell did I have to say the ending to that sentence so fast that it sounded like I was dying to say "NO WAIT I HAVE ONE MORE THING THAT I DID LAST NIGHT. EXCEPT YOU GET IN TROUBLE IN IT"

"Ok...jeez there's no need to yell," Teresa said.

I shrugged and walked out of her room to then go over to the kitchen, where I saw my mother, pacing back and forth.

"You okay?" I asked her.

"Teresa never returned last night and I'm afraid that something happened and I just really need to know where she is and I can't-"

"Mom," I stopped her. "She's in her room. Calm down,"

My moms face brightened, but then darkened. "I need to speak with her," she said in a harsh tone.

I started internally hyperventilating. Something is going to go bad.

Marina's POV

Well, my single is out now.

I felt so proud of myself. I bet Penny is listening to it right now (if she bought it....which I hope she did)

I wonder what she thinks of it. I hope she's doing okay.

"Marina," Lucy said, interrupting my thoughts. I turned to her, and she had a smile on her face.

"Were going to meet some fans now," she said. I nodded and got up from my seat.

The taxi driver took us to a hotel, where I had a gig at. I was going to perform my new song later that night at the hotel.

Fans surrounded the taxi. My window showed teenagers of all ages, and even some adults.

I was safety led to the inside of the hotel, and I saw a couch with fake wall behind it.

"Were going to call the fans one by one, unless they brought their friends too, to meet you. We have security on both sides of the couch to keep an eye on what the fans...do," Lucy said.

"Okay," I calmy said.

Then, in just a blink of an eye, I saw the fans pile into the room.

"INTO THE LINE PLEASE," the security guards yelled.

The fans instantly obeyed and got into their lines. There were shrieks and conversations were filling the air.

I loved this. I think it's amazing how one person can just do what they love, and in return, they get love back.

A girl suddenly walked over to me. My eyes bulged when I saw her features.

Copper hair. Light skin. And she looked like she was 13.

"Penny, is that you?" I managed to say.
