11 done and here it comes!
I was asked to write something about my own self and not the usual stuff that I write. That time I promised to write after publishing 11 poems (at that time I wouldn't have gone past the first line tbh) and today the day has arrived.
So here is my honest attempt at it. Hope you like it.

I sense your emotions,
but only after I already speak.
I’m learning how to understand
The meaning behind your every feat,
But I am a work in progress.
Given a moment to think,
It’s frightening how out of touch I am,
I don’t want to back out again
I want to solve my own challenges
But I am a work in progress.
My flippancy makes me poison,
But my each deed was to make others excel
How it backfired each time I don't know
I hope to surely learn it some day
But I am a work in progress.
There are beautiful aspects about my life
When I’m on the highway-behind the wheel
There is no better feeling.
These are the happy blurs I wish to extend
But I am a work in progress.
Since I can no longer afford to help others,
Before helping my own self first
So I’ll shut down this page now
And return back once I have done so
Trust me I'll be back,
I won't forever remain a Work in Progress!
