Walk the Talk

As I pass these blooming woods
Walking on the carpet of petas, so good
I try to think and remember
Am I worthy of being this society's member?

The road as far as I can see
Is so full of people
Some walking with assumed pride
And yet some with a style- simple and bright.

I also walk alone
Unknown to me where I belong
But it's of paramount importance
That I keep moving along.

Yet, the true essence of being
Is not just walking and seeing
We have a more nobler cause awaiting
And still, nobody responds to the calling.

What a sad world it might be
I wonder as I walk
Society does nothing
Only people gather and they talk.

All notions of my worthiness or not
I have resolved to keep at bay
Taking actions, nary a word
Is what will make someone's day!
