We all have that ONE Friend, who knows us inside out. But what if s/he is lost and can't be brought back? What if s/he can be brought back, but s/he is ashamed to come back now?
Find out!***
Where are you, O dearest friend,
Teach me your ways, I need to blend;
These days, when my life is in descend
Pull me up, by my very hand.Chapter 1
We have been together since my birth,
Our infancy was surely spent in mirth;
Living everyday then, was totally worth,
Oh! Such a happy place, seemed this earth.Chapter 2
Then we began going to our schools,
Though different, yet both had same rules;
And even us, both of us tried to look cool,
Weren't you and I, just pretty little fools.Chapter 3
The day came when you had to leave,
To be with your father, where he lived;
Yes, I was surely in grief
But knowing that you weren't alone was a relief.Chapter 4
After four years, you came back,
A million tricks stuffed in your backpack;
I vividly recall those roads, armed with bikes-we used to attack,
All that has gone now, what remains is but a flashback.Chapter 5
I still remember that stupid bet,
Of you not being able to woo that gentle brunette;
How happy I was, when I heard your duet,
Pray tell me- what happened, you know, everything can be reset.Chapter 6
But soon you went down Hell's way,
Little by little every day;
How could I help, you wouldn't hear me say,
And all I was left with, was to pray.Chapter 7
Where are you, O dearest friend,
Teach me your ways now, I need to blend;
These days, when my life is in descend
Pull me up, by my very hand.Chapter 8
Alas, you are nowhere in sight,
You have deserted me, alone I fight;
But don't you worry, it's alright,
Come back again, our friendship- we shall Rewrite.
