Assumptions

Every day that I breath
I live with certain assumptions

I can be happy too
If I am willing to believe in gumptions

But somehow I am not
I put much stress on deductions

A simple, serene life is my own choice
But I end up choosing destruction

Whether you said or did something
"Its wrong"- is entirely my own production

Not taking time to think 'why'
Impatiently, I jump to a conclusion

If only I would have taken time to think
I am sure to have clearly seen this junction

Now no one but myself to blame
I am the sole reason of your eruption

And thus I'm but left with self loathing
Hoping against hope for a faint redemption

If not you, then only God can help
Now being my doleful presumption.
