Eagle

The mornings are bright
At daybreak begins the Eagle's glorious flight

A giant, mystical and fearless predator
It's your real life terminator

And though through my narrative and word
It may sound like a terrifying bird

But wait until you hear about it's splendour
For ages, it has been symbolised as a defender

It lives high up on the hills
A life complete and full of thrills

A 'bird of prey' as is often said
With valour and stealth it is made

It's speed can be matched only by a few
It's power and precision- no one can devalue

But sadly, this mighty bird is disappearing
It's nest is being destroyed to make a clearing

The onus is upon us now
To tackle the situation- when, how?

Lest we act fast because time is of the essence
Only in colourful books, we will see it's exalted presence!
