Welcome to our market, we sell many masks
No haste, select ones to perfectly fit the tasks
We've a general one, covers bad things in life
Specific ones to hide scars- caused by a knife
One mask so good, it hides away our fears
Its sole purpose being- protection from peers
One mask of life to rid us of these tears
Makes us so cold, emotions fall on deaf ears
One for the exams too, our devilish saviour
In the end only a reflection of our behaviour
One of arrogance and of ego, I think prettiest
No one wants to trade it, surely might be best
One is of misunderstanding, the most dreaded
Address it or it can leave you totally shredded
But we'd agree to die, is it so difficult a task?
What good is there in wearing useless mask!
Masks are good, but they can only cover up
But what'll we do when we run out of back up
Come over here, yes, on this stormy side
For it will truly help you in facing this tide
Masks, trust me, from far are best admired
Its just wood and colours- no Genie,
Granting wishes when desired!
