Wild Ones

Every day the same train
Every day the same game
Take me from here to a place away and far
Take me to the place where the wild ones are

Day after day the same set routine
Just wanna go back in time to when I was a teen
I don't want to end up living in a closed jar
Take me to the place where the wild ones are

I am tired of the computer screens
And in equal measure of these deafenimg screams
Just wanna sleep peacefully under the shimmering stars
Take me to the place where the wild ones are.

Always living in the safety of my cave
What good is this life- if I'm not brave
Wanna do great things, worth writing about in my memoir
Take me to the place where the wild ones are

Breaking away, I am, from this monotony
Setting afire, the customs of this colony
I'm ready and my guitar
Take me to the place where the wild ones are

A life I want away from this mockery
A life I demand in the midst of camaraderie
To those who are not with me- au revoir
Today I go to the place where the wild ones are!
