The mighty sky bore witness
As the Queen ran with a certain swiftness
It was all very weird
But in a jiffy, the Queen disappearedThe King was not at peace
These disappearances gave him unease
It continued to happen night after night
Only increasing his urge to smiteOne day he called his chief spy
Ordered him, "Keep a careful eye!"
Terrified, the spy agreed, to save his life
Started monitoring activities of King's wifeIt was night and it seemed as if Moon called
The Queen answered, quite enthralled
But unknown to the Queen, the spy followed
And what he saw, he couldn't swallowHe ran back to his Majesty's castle
Facts and logic, he could no longer wrestle
And narrated there, his entire tale
By the end of it, the King seemed paleFor every single day, the Queen went
To Hell and Danced, not repent
The King iterated in a tone so furious
For even he was shocked and totally curiousBut the Queen only laughed and laughed
Patiently the King waited and spoke at last
"Going outside the Castle gates is prohibited,
Fill thy heart with gold and jewels, instead"The Queen frowned yet politely she said
"Its these gold and jewels, that I dread
Take it all away, I pray
And give me my Freedom, is all I can say!"That night some thing queer happened
Castle and it's riches- the Queen abandoned
Right in front of all, yet no one could see
How the gates opened and she became freeThis tale has been told many times since
Even used as Fear, to cover up some sins
But nobody knows for sure, to this day
Where the Queen vanished, all happy and gay!***
This is a version of one of my favourite songs.
