Chapter 28: Hope

Shinsuke and Hiroka worked together to bring Ayami to medics. Ayami was bleeding out badly. "Guys...If I die...Just know that I love you guys..." Ayami said feeling lightheaded. "You're not going to die! You've survived much worse than this!" Hiroka said trying to stay hopeful. "Heh...That's true...I might of just gotten lucky though...My luck may have ran out..." Ayami said. "Don't say that! Your luck will never run out!" Shinsuke said also trying to stay hopeful. "Yeah! Also the medics are right there!" Hiroka said. "I guess my luck hasn't run out after all..." Ayami said relieved as the medics put her inside.

"Hey you doing okay?" The soldier asked the other soldier. "Oh no I'm dying!" The other soldier said jokingly. "Oh shit! I'll go get medics!" The soldier said. "I was joking, dipshit!" The other soldier said. "Oh. Well that's a relief. And did you just call me a dipshit?!" The soldier asked angrily.

Renee ran out into battle guns blazing. Not caring about the shot wound that she inflicted on the battlefield from Ray. She shot many government and Japanese Rebellion soldiers. She helped soldiers get to cover and helped them get to the medics' place. In the middle of her helping the soldiers she saw Sam and met up with him. He helped her with the soldiers. "Ok that seems to be all of them helped. What do we do now?" Sam asked. "We fight." Renee said. "Ok. Will do." Sam said as he started shooting soldiers.

"What should we do sir?" They still have hope of winning!" Chicago said. "They're persistent. They're hopeful. I know what will make them lose their hopes. I'm going to my prototype ship. That will make them surrender." Zawyer said. "And what if they don't surrender?" Chicago asked curiously. "I'll just kill them." Zawyer said as he walked out of the room. "Good luck sir!" Chicago said.
