Returning to Olympus

Thalia's POV

I could tell Percy was super nervous. he hasn't seen his dad in years. We arrived outside of the throne room. "wait here, I will let you know when to come in" Artemis explains. Artemis went into the throne room leaving me and Percy alone. "how do you feel?" I asked even though I kinda knew the answer. "I'm scared," he tells me. "hey it'll be okay," I tell him. I heard Artemis mind message me telling me to bring Percy in. "you ready?" I asked him. Percy took a deep breath before responding "ready" he says and we both push the doors open.  Percy and I go into the middle of the throne room.
"P-Percy? Is that really you?" Poseidon Asked getting off his throne.
"Yeah dad....it's me," Percy tells him.  Poseidon hugged Percy. "I missed you so much, I'm so so sorry I said all those things," Poseidon told him.  " I hate to ruin this reunion, but we need to discuss where you have been Perseus," Father said to them. Poseidon stopped hugging Percy and sat down on his throne. " Okay well for starters I was the one who brought your children to camp or the hunt" he explained. 

"they all said they were brought by a person who had used fire. it couldn't have been you" Athena said. Percy looked at Hestia and she nodded. Percy raised his hand and set it on fire. "after my mom and Paul died I ah... I was lost. Hestia came and comforted me and adopted me." he told us. Dad got off his throne and went to Hestia and hugged her. "thank you" he whispered.   "So Perseus what do you plan on doing? father asked him. " I kinda want to be left alone," Percy told them. "as much as I hate to say this, father if it wasn't for Percy most of my hunters, would be dead. so, Percy, I would like to ask you would you be my guardian?" Artemis asked him. I could tell Percy was shocked "really? why me? I'm no one special" he explained to her. Artemis just laughed."Percy, you're the only male that I respect, and I'm pretty sure Thalia would lose it if you went missing again. So why would you think that your no one special?" Artemis asked him. "well you guys all act like I single handily defeated Kronos and Gaea" "well you kinda did,"I told him "look can we do this later?" Percy asked. I nodded and Percy turned back to Artemis "Artemis with all due respect...i'm going to decline your offer" Percy said to her. "so you're leaving again...just like that" I said to him. the thought of Percy disappearing again makes me want to cry. "alright ill be your guardian, but I'm not taking some oath...I'm only doing it for Thalia" Percy told her. I looked at Percy with a smile and he returned one. "well then Percy, welcome to the hunt" Artemis told him. Percy said by to his father and we flashed out.
