Chapter 17

Thalia's POV

my side felt like it's on fire.  I looked down at my side and noticed a bandage wrapped around my stomach. I looked around to get an idea on where I was. There is another bed in the room. I realized that it was Cassie. That's when I realized that Percy wasn't here, I quickly got out of the bed which caused shot pain up my body. I fell on my knees with a groan. I hissed as I tried to stand back on my feet. Luckily for me, someone walked into the room so I didn't have to hurt myself anymore. It was Atalanta; She noticed I was up so She quickly ran to my side. "Are you ok?" She asked me. "never better," I said sitting back down on the bed. She suddenly pulled me into a hug which shocked me. "you scared us all to death Thalia" I sighed and hugged her back. " I know, and I'm sorry" She pulled away and sat next to me "so how's the rest of the hunt?" I asked her. "we've been good," We sat in silence when suddenly Atalanta jolted up "I can't believe I forgot to give you this," she said. She grabbed something from the table and handed it to me. I saw it was ambrosia I grabbed it and popped it into my mouth. I sighed in relief as I could feel my pain subside. "thank you" Atalanta smiled at me. "no problem, but I think you should go and tell the others you're up" She explained. I sighed "ok" I got off the bed and left the room.

I arrived at the throne room door and rested my hand on the door. was I ready to do this? that I didn't know. I took a deep breath and pushed open the throne room doors. Everyone drew their attention to me. I noticed the Hunt was here too which surprised me. I walked into the middle of the throne room. My father got off his throne and shrunk down before walking in front of me. he then pulled me into a hug which wasn't like him. I hugged him back. "I'm glad you're safe," he said causing me to smile. I looked at Poseidon's throne and noticed he wasn't there "where's Poseidon?" I asked him.  Father looked at Poseidon's throne and sighed before turning back to me "we told him Percy's still missing. I felt sick as my suspicion was confirmed. I pulled away from my father and looked at my shoes "Thalia why did you leave with Percy?" I looked up and saw Artemis staring at me with curiosity "M'lady I'm sorry to say this but I love him" I said causing everyone to gasp except Aphrodite and Hesta who both gave me smiles. "you broke your oath, you know what this means right?" She asked me. I nodded my head. I glowed grey for a few before it disappeared. this officially meant I left the hunt and lost my Immortality or so I thought. I gave all my sisters hugs as we've spent the last few years making memories together. 

I hugged Artemis one last time. during the hug, she whispered to me "you'll always have a home in the hunt" I smiled "thank you Artemis" we pulled away and smiled away before she flashed away with the hunt. I looked back at my father "Can you flash me to camp half-blood?" I asked him. he nodded an teleported me to camp. We arrive just in front of the barrier protecting the camp. I smiled as I was finally home. I walked down the hill overlooking the camp and made my way towards the cabin I used to stay in.  Jason lives at Camp Jupiter so I'm the only one who actually sleeps here. "Thalia?" A voice called my name. I turned around to see none other than Nico. "hey, Death Breath" I said smiling at him.  he ran and gave me a hug. I was one of the few people who he'd actually hug beside Percy, and Will. "so what are you doing here?" he asked me. "I left the hunt" he looked at me in shock. "why? I thought you loved it there" "well I fell in love with someone," I said hoping he'll be happy for me. "really? so who's the lucky person?" Nico asked me "Well I'm dating Percy" I smile sheepishly expecting him to freak out but surprisingly he gave me another hug. "You two are perfect for each other and I'm happy for you," he said. I hugged him back and broke down in tears "Thalia what's wrong? Why are you crying?" he said. "I left with Percy and went to Chao's planet him and everything was fine for a few weeks but we got attacked and I don't know what happened to him. he could be getting tortured or killed or worse and I don't know..." I sobbed. Nico brought me to the cabin floor and rubbed my back. "it'll be ok Thalia...It'll be ok"
