Chapter 18

Thalia's POV

"What do I do?" I asked Nico. "to be honest Thalia I don't know but everyone will be here for you" I gave a slight smile. "Thanks, Death Breath, you're the best cousin," "I think we already knew that" he joked. The signal for dinner rang out causing me to sigh. was I ready to see everyone? I probably wasn't but it's not like I have a choice. "well let's get this over" I said getting off of my bed. Nico and I left my cabin and made our way to the Dinner pavilion. I could see my brother Jason and Piper sitting at the Zeus table. they were currently talking. I walked up to them "you mind if I sit here?" I asked them. Jason turned around and noticed it was me. "Thalia!" he said pulling me into a hug and alerting the camp of my presence. "what are you doing here?" he asked pulling away. "well I left the hunt so I live here now" I explained on why I'm here.  "why'd you leave?" Jason asked. "I left because I fell in love with someone, and before you ask it's Percy" Jason and Piper's eyes widened. "are you two dating?"Piper asked me. I nodded with a smile. Piper screams and gave me a hug. "Oh my god, congratulations" she squealed. I hugged her back and looked at my brother who was shaking his head with a smile. we pulled away and sat down and talked some more. It was nice seeing them but the thought of Percy still lingered in my head.

Dinner went by faster then I thought and soon enough I was walking back to my cabin."Thalia!" someone screamed. I turned around to see Annabeth running towards me. During my time with Percy, he told me that Annabeth cheated on him. I was completely shocked when I heard him say this. I want to hate Annabeth for hurting Percy but I can't.  Annabeth and I have known each other for years. "hey Annabeth" I said when she got closer. Annabeth pulled me into a hug "It's nice to see you" she said. "it's nice to see you too" I said hugging her back. "Did you find Percy?" she asked pulling away. "yeah I did Annabeth, but he's missing again," "I need to apologize to him and hope we can at least be friends," "Annabeth. Percy and I are currently dating," Annabeth sighed "I know. I heard you talking to Jason and Piper," I put a hand on her shoulder " I'm sure Percy will forgive you," Annabeth gave me a light smile "thanks Thalia, are you coming to the fire?" she asked me. "I don't think so  Annabeth." I didn't feel like doing anything today." ok, see you later Thalia" she said and ran off. I was walking towards my cabin when I looked at the Poseidon cabin.

I reluctantly walk up the stairs to the cabin and open the door. The place looks like it hasn't been touched in years. well, I'm pretty sure it hasn't. I close the cabin door behind me so nobody knows I'm in here. the sun peeking through the closed curtains was my only source of light. it looked like Percy didn't bring anything with him. The Minotaur horn was still above his bed and most of his pictures were still on his dresser. I grabbed one and saw it was a picture of me, Percy, Annabeth, and Grover right before I joined the hunt. I smiled at the memory. I just wished that Percy was somewhere safe and will be coming back soon. My vision blurred as tears started pooling in my eyes. I clutched the picture to my chest and let out a quiet sob. I missed him so much. I fell on my knees and sobbed even harder. I heard the Cabin doors open causing me to look up. I saw my brother as well as Piper and Nico. Jason walked over and kneeled next to me before pulling me into a hug. "Oh Thalia, it'll be ok..." Jason said comforting me.
