Chapter 6

Veronica POV

We all gathered in the central park. Thor had Loki in chains. "It was nice working with you Odinson" I said to Thor. "Same here Ms. Booth" he replied. "Call me Ronnie" I said. Loki started to give muffled sounds looking at me. He actually had a mouth arrest.

"You wanna tell me something?" I asked him. He nodded. I looked at others and all looked confused. I went to open his mouth pad when Clint stopped me.

"I wouldn't do that Ronnie" he said. I looked at Loki who gave me a sad look. "He does have puppy eyes" I said opening his mouth pad. He gave out a heavy breath of air. Then smiled at me.

"I think we have not met formally. I am Loki from Asgard" he said with a grin. I looked at him wide eyed. I turned and looked at others to see they had the same reaction.

"Did he just flirt with her?" Nat asked. "Yeah I am pretty much sure he did" Banner said.

"Wait! You flirted with Ronnie. Veronica Booth" Tony said standing in front of me. I was pushed back only to bump on Steve.

"Let me make this clear you Asgardian! Your entire brain!...am I making it clear.....your entire brain is not worth a neuron in her head!!" Tony shouted strapping back his mouth cap.

"Tony!" I called out laughing. Steve too laughed standing near me. "Don't you ever flirt with her" Tony warned him.

"Tony stop your scaring him!" I said and stood in front of Tony. "Good to meet you too" I said. "Did she just do that?" Banner asked. "Yes she did" Clint replied.

"I apologise for my brother's behaviour" Thor said to me. "No, no...it's Alright. He does have a charm" I said. Loki nodded proudly looking at his brother.

"We'll meet soon." I said to both of them when they blasted into the sky with the Tesseract. I looked up in the sky and then turned to see all the others giving me a look.

"What?" I asked. "We will not pretend that this did not happen" Steve said smiling. "Well maybe no one in this entire plant deserve me" I said laughing. Everybody else laughed when Tony went to protest. I cut him off.

"So what are you all gonna do?" I asked. "Guess me and Tony work together now" Banner said.

"Two science nerds in a building. Don't do anything stupid! " I said. "Can't promise " Tony said kissing me in the cheek. Then I turned towards Nat and Clint. "Undercover again?" I asked. "Looks so" Clint replied.

Then I turned towards Steve. "So Cap any plans?" I asked. "Just explore the world. Too much to catch up" he replied. I smiled at him.

"What are you doing hothead?" Nat asked me. "Oh!...I was working on another pattern. I have to finish it" I said.

"Another one? Seriously?" Tony asked. "Last one. I promise" I said . " Better be" Clint said.

"So here it is" Steve said. "Seems to be" Nat said. And all of us looked at each other. I looked at Steve and his eyes lingered on mine.

I just gave him a nod with a smile. Which he returned. And then we made our way towards our cars. Steve got on his bike. Tony and Bruce in one car. Nat and Clint in SHIELD's car. I walked towards mine which was also from SHIELD.

And here we dispersed. Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The AVENGERS. Hope we meet soon!!!!!

Yep!!! That's a wrap for Avengers. Next would be Captain America Winter Soldier. Where we could get more of Ronnie!
