I've never been this nervous. Not even when I had to fight aliens from outer space. But this is scaring me. I was on my way to Stark tower.
Looks like The Avengers is joining again for a mission Maria called me and said. I couldn't be here early because I was in London for two days. It was this Security Council work.
I told the team about it and they were glad that is was me and not any one of them. Last few months were very good for me. Especially with Steve. The World knows him only as a very righteous soldier. But I've seen the other side of him.
The romantic side, which was actually the best side. I still didn't tell the team about our relationship. I didn't know what their reaction would be.
So Steve took that upon his shoulders to say them. He would have said them by now. He already met the team yesterday.And now I must face them. I entered the Stark premises.
"Hey there Ronnie" Happy said. "Happy hey!...can You just park the car?..I have...." he cut me off.
"Yeah! Yeah! I know they are waiting for you up" he said taking my keys. "That definitely doesn't make me feel good " I said making my way to the elevator. I entered in and pressed the last floor.
I tapped my foot vigorously due to anxiety. "Dr. Booth" JARVIS spoke up suddenly scaring me. I held the walls of the elevator for support. "I'm sorry" he said. "Yeah. Please tell them I've arrived" I said breathing heavily.
What if they don't support? Especially Tony? I fiddled my finger with nervousness. The elevator door opened and there they stood all their eyes laid on me.
Nat, Clint , Bruce, Thor, Steve and Tony. Tony looked at me so intently that he didn't even blink. I slowly entered in.
"Am I in trouble?" I asked. Nat and Clint were the first to attack me with a hug. "I knew it!" Nat cried. "You should have told me" Clint said.
"Good to hear, Ronnie" Bruce said. "Thank you, Doc" I said. "Congratulations" Thor said. I smiled at him. Steve was smiling looking at everything.
At last I looked at Tony who slowly stood up from the couch. He came and stood in front of me when Steve came and stood behind me. I put my hands back and Steve held them.
"For the first time in your entire lifetime, you are doing something for yourself, and you thought I won't encourage that? ..you totally unimpressed me lady " Tony said. I looked at him realizing.
"Wait...does it mean....." I trailed. "Permission granted" he said. I fell back relieved on Steve. He wrapped his hands around my waist.
"Oh my God...that was intense" I said. "Under one condition, no kissing in front of the team" Tony said putting out a finger. I turned and looked at Steve.
"We could manage that" he said. I nodded. "Aha!.....At last Ronnie. You get a love life" Nat said. "Well I guess you'll get one sure too" I said looking Bruce, who put his head down blushing.
"Tony, gave you a mini heart attack, go get rest" Clint said. I nodded. "It's the same old room?" I asked Tony. "Though this building has many rooms I was strictly asked to pair you up with Cap" Tony said.
"By?" I asked. "Us!" Everybody raised their hands. I laughed at them. "Get rest . We have a mission tomorrow" Thor said. "Orders accepted, Odinson" I said and made my way towards the room that now both Steve and I are sharing.

I took a shower and changed to more comfy clothes. I held my hair up and tied it into a bun. Just then Steve entered my room.
"That was easy" he said about today. "It was easy because you were pretty good in convincing them" I said. "Well you were the prize. So I had to try hard" he said. Both laughed.
"Any idea about the mission?" I asked. "Hill said it was something in Sokovia" he said. "Ug...I hate being in that catsuit" I said sitting non the bed.
"And I love watching you in that suit" he said sitting beside me. "Captain America is cheesy" I announced. He laughed.
"So, how did it go with the committee?" He asked. "I just informed them about the mission. Real work comes after it. And that is freaking me out." I said.
"I am sure that you will do good" he said. I leaned in for a kiss which he returned. "I missed this" I said in between our kiss. He chuckled.
"You were gone like for two days" he said. "Oh you don't know about the effect you have on me Rogers" I said. "Really?" He asked as in climbed onto the bed.
"Yes" I said and he climbed next to me. I placed my head on his chest and he stoked my hair . And just like thst I drifted off.

"So, there is a HYDRA base in Sokovia led by Strucker" Maria said. "Any idea what he is doing?" Steve asked.
"No, but we do know that he has the scepter, and he is working on it" Thor said.
"This time, if we get our hands on that stick, your are taking it back to Asgard." I said to Thor.
"After we work with it" Tony interrupted. "Do what with it?" Clint asked. "Don't know" Tony said. I knew he was hiding something.
"But we'll work. Me and Banner come up with very good ideas" Tony said. "Yeah, what are those ideas?" Nat asked him.
"Well we did build and design VERONICA" Tony said. I looked at him confused. "Built and designed what?" I asked.

"VERONICA, It's a suit that comes in handy when the alter ego of Banner becomes uncontrollable" Tony explained.
"You named one of your suits after me? I hate you Tony!" I shouted and everybody laughed. "Hey! you must be proud of it. It's rounding the earth right now you know. Tell her Banner " Tony said.
"And you helped him in designing this?" Steve asked smiling. I glared at Bruce.
"I helped to design it, not name it" Bruce said."I didn't get any other name" Tony justified. I huffed. "You know at times I feel the World needs to be saved from these crackheads like you" Clint said.
"I understood that" Thor spoke up. Everybody laughed again. Well I did tell him what 'crackheads' mean. "Thank you, now we have a mission. Cap orders?" Tony asked.
And Steve started giving them. Now we need to go to Sokovia.
