Veronica POV

It's been a month. Literally a month I've been trying to talk to the Government about us. They've come up with these Accords, which does nothing but shuts the Avengers down.

117 countries have come up supporting this. I tried talking to who all I can, but they just don't seem to listen. People's life bothered them more than understanding the need for the Avengers. Can't blame them.

The Accords are still not sanctioned. They will be done anytime now. And if they do, the team will get to know about it. And I don't know if its gonna go well.

I didn't even go to our facility. I took a room in the city so that  I could rush to the Offices whenever needed. Only for them to hear me talk the entire thing and just shake their head saying no.

This has been a constant loop. I've been really very patient. I've been trying everything I could do. But everything was a vain.

I entered the Secretary room. Ross wanted to meet me again for what looks like a thousandth time. He just hates us. That's for sure. He's been trying everything to get the Accords sanctioned.

"Ms. Booth. Welcome back" he said very excited. He is excited. Which means its bad for us.

"I have a very good news...well guess its a little less good for you. The Government has sanctioned the Accords" he said. Just like I feared. "Here is your copy. As your a Official, and you've been a pretty big part in this as the opposition party, I was asked to give you one." He said handing me a pretty big document.

I took it and he made his way outside. I followed him. He likes talking when Walking. "I'm off to your facility to talk to your team about the Accords" he said.

"You really think they are gonna accept this" I said. He gave me a smirk. "Looks like some are already" he said and gestured to the car that stood in front of us. Inside sat the person, who out of everyone in this world t thought will not accept the Accords. Yet he sat there. Tony Stark sat there.

I just stood there looking at him, not knowing what to say

I just stood there looking at him, not knowing what to say. "Mr. Stark is giving me a ride to the Facility. Would you like to join?" Ross asked.

I was still looking at Tony who also did the same. I've been working for a month trying to stop this and he just accepts it like that.  And now he's taking Ross to the team.

"I'll meet you there Mr. Ross" I said softly and walked away not looking at Tony again. This is definitely not gonna end well.
