Veronica POV

Nakia took us through a secret passway inside the forest. We walked a lot and finally can in face with Shuri and her mother.

"Nakia" Shuri gasped. "Who are these two?" Her mother questioned.

"They were friends with T'Challa. I sat in front of Shuri's mother. "I'm sorry. He was a good King" I whispered. She gave me a very sad look.

I slowly rubbed Shuri's back. "Where is Okoye?" She asked.

"Shes not coming. She and the soldiers have to serve for the king. Please wait here" Nakia said and made her way.

Me and Ross exchanged looked worried. "What has happened to our Wakanda?" The queen sat on the ground crying.

Nakia was back with only obe twig of the heart shaped herb. The thing which gives the powers to the Black panther.

We were walking along the mountain paths, Shuri leading us.

"So where are we going?" Ross asked.

"We are taking the heart shaped herb to Jabari land" Nakia said.

"The heart shaped herb?" Ross asked confused. "What is that?"

"It gives whoever takes it heightened abilities" Shuri said.

"It's what made T'Challa strong" I added.

"Nakia...I don't like this" The Queen spoke. "The herb belongs to us. We made be creating a bigger monster with M'Baku"

"You should take it yourself" she added. All our gaze shifted to Nakia.

"I am a spy. With no army. I would and a chance" she said. Me and Ross stood side by side. Allowing the Royals to take their decision.

"We'll go" the Queen sighed softly. And we walked. As we did , I heard noises. I knew we were surrounded.

I put my hands out with powers as it formed a big shield around us.

"What is it?" Nakia asked. "We are surrounded" I said as the tribe appeared and huddled around us armed.

As I was about to attack them Nakia stopped. "Wait!...We wish to speak to M'Baku"

"And why should we let you? You have two colonizers among you, after all"one of the warriors said.

"We'll not enter into your place. But please take them" I pleaded. They looked at me.

"Please. Help them"

They looked at all of us. "We'll take you to see him. Follow us. All of you" one of the said. And we did immediately.

We entered in and saw their king M'Baku sitting on his throne. The Queen walked forward.

"My son....was murdered in ritual combat" she said full pain in his voice.

"We're the odds fair?" M'BAKU asked calmly.

"Yes, but..." He cut off. "Then it was less a murder than a defeat" he said.

Shuri stepped forward, pointing a finger. "Do not rub our noses in it.."

"Silence!" He shouted. "I make the pronouncements here girl"

"Well, you see, your highness, the new King..." Ross started. The leader started to hoot not allowing him to talk. Ross tried again but no.

"YOU CANNOT TALK!" The leader snapped. "One more word and I will feed you to my Children"
