Chapter 41

Veronica POV

Me, Shuri, Nakia and Ross entered the lab. Shuri ran towards her gadgets.

"Nakia and I will get control over the royal planes with this"

"Doctor, wear these" she said handing me bracelets for both hands.

"It'll help you on field" she said as I put them.

"Okay, what do I do?" Ross asked. "You will fly" she said putting braces on his hands.

"What?" He asked. "You are a great pilot. I've designed it in a more American style. You'll be fine. I'll guide you through it. It's just like riding a hover bike" Shuri said.

"You guys have hovers bikes?" He quedtioned. "No time Ross" I said.

"Just do it" I added and we ladies rushed out. "Good luck Agent Ross. We're counting on you" Nakia said as we ran out.

I ran out with the ladies to find the war already started.

"Let's do this" I said and ran on field. I ran as fast as I could. I saw a warrior rushing towards me.

"Just in time" I said and striked my hands which activated the beads that bled out the suit.

"Oh.. Shuri. I love you" I said as I charged at the man. Kicking him and using my usually technique of putting my legs around his leg pulling him down.

"Booth, your suit can configure your powers. Like forming weapons" Shuri said throughthe comm.

"Really? Let's try" I said and put out my hands on either side, which literally formed two knives in my hands with my powers. They were Shining blue in colour.

Men came at me and I attacked them endlessly. Striking them with knives, cutting them.

And I fought a group of men. Continuously.

I saw Okoye talking with the head of the opposite leafer. W'Kabi. Something pissed him off and he blowed a long horn.

I heard the ground rattle and looked up long away to see a herd, literally a herd what looked like Rhinos came charging at us.

"What the hell? You use Rhinos to war?" I shouted as there herd neared.

I ran in front putting a large barrier. Large enough to cover the entire herd.

The animals came and pushed the barrier as strong as they could.

W'Kabi stood in front if me. "Look, I done that your out of mind. But you have to stop. For God's sake" I said.

He looked angry and charged at me when Okoye came and stood in front of me.

"Stop this!" She shouted. Just as my barrier broke and the animals rushed in.

One came right at me. I can fight humans, not animals. I took my hands to throw my powers as it was ready to leap at me.

Okoye came in between and the Rhino from being angry went to a puppy licking Okoye with love.

"Oh...gross. But cute" I said. I left Okoye to talk with her love as I went away towards the lab.

As I ran, I saw the plane above controlled by Ross stopping all the other planes. "Nice job, Ross" I said through the comm.

"Wakanda Forever!" He shouted. I laughed. Really Ross?

I neared the broken building. It was literally destroyed. I entered in an looked around the debris.

I couldn't find anyone. I walked futher in and noticed a movement. T'Challa slowly walked towards me.

"What happened?" I asked. He breathed heavily. "He chose his end" he replied.

I bent down putting my hands on my knees tired. "Nice suit by the way" he said. I gave him a small smile.

"Yeah, thanks to your sister" I said as we both walked out. Nakia and Shuri ran towards us.

"Are you alright?" Nakia asked T'Challa worried. While Shuri came towards me.

Both of us smirked at the couple. "Can I have these?" I asked Shuri referring to the bracelets.

"I made them for you" Shuri said. I looked at T'Challa.

"I can't wait to show these to Tony" I said laughing.

"Thank you Doctor" he said. I nodded.

It was over. He is the King of Wakanda again.

"Here, these are few designs that I did. Applying them to your weapons may help you a lot" I said handing them to Shuri.

She looked excited and T'Challa went to talk when I cut him.

"Please don't thank me. You've thanked me enough" I said.

"Any word from Captain?" He asked. I looked down shaking my head.

"Just hoping that he is safe. People are still searching him and the others" I said.

"I'm sure he's missing you too" Shuri said. "Oh.. I'm sure that he would be out of his mind by now. However great they may be, men are always losing points without their ladies by their side" I said and looked at T"'Challa.

"Is that directed towards me?" He asked. Me and Shuri laughed.

"Yes, it is directed towards you. Go get your girl. She's good" I said. He blushed.

"My brother is blushing. The King is Blushing" Shuri laughed out loud making us laugh.

"So, guess I'll make a move" I said. "Where will you go? Back to Stark?" The King asked. I shook my head.

"No, everybody's on break. Guess we need one from each other too. Somewhere else" I said.

"Call me whenever you need me. I would love to visit here again" I said. The siblings nodded their head.

T'Challa put his hand out. "See you soon Doctor" he said. I took his hand.

"See you Soon, Black Panther" I said. I turned around to leave when Shuri called me.

"Doctor, I'd like to show you something before you leave?" She said as the duo smirked.

"What?" I asked confused.

She took me to a hut along the Riverside.

"What is it?" I asked. "Just wait" she said when a group of children came out running.

They ran towards us. "Are you making fun of him again?* Shuri asked them when a person came out from the hut.

My eyes went wide away looking at him. "Good morning sergent Barnes" Shuri greeted.

He looked at me and smiled. "It's Bucky" he said. I walked forward towards him.

I wrapped my hand around him in relief. He just placed his single hand on my back.

"Your back. I can't wait for Steve to know and meet you. See you both together" I said.

"So am I. See you both two together" he said. I looked down. I really wish we were together now.

Now that Bucky is back, Steve would be very happy.

"So, no more Winter soldier?" I asked. He shook his head.

"Only White Wolf" Shuri said. I smiled feeling very happy. I just wish Steve being here.

And I really hope we come back together.
