-Kon'nichiwa=Hello/good afternoon
-Konbanwa=Good evening
-Oyasumi=Good night
-Sayōnara=Goodbye•Words or phrases:
-Hai=Yes
-Iie=No
-Gomen/gomenasai=Sorry
-Daijōbu/daijōbudesuka=Are you okay?
-Arigato/arigato gozimasu=Thank you
-Nani=What
-Ittai-yo=It hurts
-Baka=Stupid
-Minna=Everyone/everybody
-Kuso=Fuck
-Nakama=Friend
-Oiran=courtesan
-Damare=Shut up
-Ningen=Human•Food:
-Gohan=Steamed rice
-Miso Shiru=Miso soup
-Yakizakana=Grilled fish
-Umeboshi=Pickled plum
-Ajitsuke nori=Dried and seasoned seaweed
-Kobachi=Vegetable side dish(es)•Sweets:
-Manjū=A sweet treat filled with anko (which is a sweetened red bean paste made from azuki beans)
-Castella=A type of cake popular in Japan
-Dorayaki=Pancake shaped castella with azuki red bean paste inside.
-Konpeitō=Multicoloured sugar candy
-Daifuku=Small round mochi stuffed with sweet filling. (Usually anko)•Family:
-Okaachan=Mummy
-Haha=Mother
-Okaasan=Mum
-Papa=Daddy (I know it's not a Japanese word, but I felt like including it since I couldn't find a clear Japanese translation for 'daddy')
-Otousan=Dad
-Chichi=Father•Other:
-Ofuro=Japanese bath(Please note that some of these have been found via Google translate and may or may not be correct)
