I woke up, barely able to contain my excitement. Today I was getting to ACTUALLY train under a Shinsengumi captain! I quickly got dressed, brushed my blonde hair and put a section of it into a ponytail as I always did. I left my room and excitedly made my way to Heisuke-kun's. I knocked on his door, but got no answer in response. Huh? I knocked again yet still received no response. Maybe he's already up? I slowly slid open his door and peeked inside. What I saw made me have to stifle a laugh.

Heisuke-kun was cuddling his covers. Hard to believe he's one of the captains of the fearsome Shinsengumi. I shook him, but he didn't respond. "Come on Heisuke-kun! We've got training to do!" I continuously shook him, but got no response. "Yeah, that's not gonna work" I jumped at the unexpected voice. "Gomen, didn't mean to startle ya" I turned around to see Harada-san. "Don't worry about it. More importantly, what did you mean by that?" "Exactly what I said. The kid's a deep sleeper, he won't wake up unless he wants to wake up" "Seriously? He's the one who said see you bright and early" "Yeah, well his bright and early is different from yours. Just go have breakfast and come back. If he's still sleeping after that I'm afraid you're going to have to wait" "I guess there's no other choice..." I sighed. "Don't look like that, you've just got to learn to be patient with Heisuke" "I know, it's just I really need the training...I've never fought properly with a sword before" I admitted fearfully. "So let me get this straight, you joined the Shinsengumi without any sword fighting experience?" "More like no fighting in general experience..." "You're either a really fast learner or really baka" "H-Hey! I'm not baka! Plus joining the Shinsengumi was my dream! I never expected it to come true!" Heisuke-kun stirred in response to our shouting and one of his eyes opened slightly.
