I was all ready for bed when I got an unexpected visitor. My outer door slid open and a shadow slipped inside. I quickly picked up Aka Tatsu and removed it from its sheath. "Who's there?!" The shadowy figure stepped into the light of my lantern and my eyes widened. "Kazama?! You're pretty brave coming here by yourself, again" "I'm not here to kidnap you or play with you. I'm here to tell you the truth" "Really? Why do I have doubts about that? Oh yeah! Because you've dodged all my questions regarding the truth thus far!" "You want to know why I'm obsessed with you or not?" "Hai..." I sheathed Aka Tatsu and put it back in its place. "You may begin" "The reason I'm so determined to take you with me is because you're my sister" He sighed. "Wait, nani!?" People had said that we looked alike and could be related, yet hearing it from Kazama's mouth still shocked me. "That sword you carry around, Aka Tatsu. I gave that to you on your seventh birthday"

I looked at the sword I had just put down. "A year before we got separated" "I don't...I can't..." I couldn't wrap my head around it. It was so hard to believe that what Kazama was saying was the truth. "Still aren't convinced? Then this is something you can't possibly misunderstand" He approached until he was standing right in front of me. He reached into his kimono and pulled out something golden. My eyes widened to the size of saucers when I recognised it. "You wear the the other half of this necklace..." He held up mine and connected the two halves. "...And together it says: "Kage & Yeko forever". Those were the nicknames we called each other by when we were younger. Our parents gave us these necklaces in case we ever forgot that family is forever" "I..." I stared at our necklaces joined together in awe. "H-How did we end up separated?" I asked with a trembling voice as I looked up into his red eyes. Red eyes that were the same hue as mine. "We were on the run and had to split up to better our chances at survival. That was the last time I saw you" "On the run...? Why were we...?" My head suddenly throbbed painfully, causing me to leave my question unfinished. I put my hand to my temple as I winced and staggered backwards. "What is it Chiyeko?" "I have...no idea...I suddenly...have a...split...ting...head...ache..." After hearing everything Kazama had to say, my mind was working furiously to try and remember the things he had told me. Only, I wasn't remembering anything. My head felt like someone was striking it with a hammer over and over again. Needless to say, the pain was preventing me from accessing my memories. "Hey! Are you alright?!" Kazama exclaimed worriedly as he moved to support my swaying body. I wanted to answer him to tell him not to worry, but the pain in my head was unbearable. I felt myself being sucked into pitch blackness as I slumped into Kazama who easily caught me in his arms. "Chiyeko, what's wrong!?" "Kazama...I...I want...to...remem...ber..." That was the last thing I was able to say before the darkness took over. I fainted.
I feel something...it's so warm. I was extremely tired, despite that I could clearly feel the warmth of someone holding my hand. "...Chiyeko-chan..." Someone's...calling me? "Ugh..." I slowly opened my eyes. "Chiyeko-chan! Daijōbu?!" "I..." My voice was only a soft whisper. I tried to sit up, but found it difficult to do so. "Don't push yourself!" Heisuke-kun supported me as I couldn't manage sitting on my own. "Heisuke-kun, nani...?" "I found you collapsed in your room. We're at Doctor Matsumoto's. We brought you here to recover, but your fever just won't go down..." "Come to think of it, I feel unusually sluggish..." "Don't push yourself, lie down" "Hai..." Heisuke-kun laid me back down. My head hurts...and my chest too, why...? I lost consciousness again.
