The Year I Met Ryan (Editing)

I'll be posting up a new book but once its completed.

I haven't come up with a brief synopsis and the first chapter is a rough but just to give you guys something to look forward to reading. It will be a mystery/romance.

Rough synopsis:

Lacey Anderson is a typical 18 year old. Or is she? Her twin sister was murdered only a few months ago, and no matter what anyone else thinks or tells her, she is going to find her murderer.

Logan Letterman is a new cop. His assignment? Go undercover, befriend the sister, and find the murderer. It shouldn't be too hard right?

When feelings get in the way of an investigation, it makes it that much harder for them to keep their secrets.

Rough first chapter:

My name is Lacey Anderson. Today was my 18th birthday. It would have been my sister's 18th birthday also. But someone, someone we know, someone in this town, kidnapped her and killed her.

He thinks that no one knows, that he can continue on killing girls. I mean, he's been doing it for so long.

The police seem to either be doing nothing or getting nowhere because it's been 3 months since her death and nothing has turned up. They have five deaths with the same murderer and he seems to be in the wind. They've declared that this is the job of CRPD, castle rock police department.

But no one is aware of the fact that I'm doing everything in my power to find Alexandra's killer and I intend to keep it that way.     

HIS POV.  

My name is Logan Letterman. 21. New to the police department. Actually to the Everet police department, but apparently some serial killer has been on the loose, and seeing as how I'm young and look young, they've called me in to Castle Rock to see if I am willing to go undercover. 

I said I was.

My parents live there so what would be the worst thing to happen. Why undercover? Well I was about to find out.
