Halstead walks into Shaylynn's room and notices right away the look on her face.
"Babe, what's wrong?" he asks her.
"I can't keep living this lie!" Shaylynn tells him.
Halstead looks at her confused, "What lie is that?"
Shaylynn looks at him pissed, "Us! We're the lie!" she tells him.
"I don't understand!" he tells her.
"You weren't there to protect me! I can't trust you! You and I were a mistake!" Shaylynn tells him, "You need to leave! You better get a good lawyer because, by the time I'm done with you, you won't see the kids!"
Halstead is dumbfounded by all this.
"I said you need to leave! Didn't you hear me?! I don't love you!!!" Shaylynn shouts at him, "GET OUT!"

Halsteads body jumps.
He falls out of the chair he's sleeping in.
Hearing the 'thud' jolts Shaylynn awake.
Looking over the side of the bed she sees Halstead lying on the floor, "Babe, are you alright?"
He looks up at her with tears in his eyes, "Jay, what's wrong?" Shaylynn asks while she sits up.
"I had a nightmare!" he tells her as he climbs to his feet.
"About Afghanistan?" she asks him.
Halstead shakes his head 'no', "Something far worse!" he tells her.
"What can be worse than Afghanistan?" Shaylynn asks while she pats her hand on the side of the bed.
Halstead sits down on the side of the bed and looks at her, "You told me you didn't love me anymore because I wasn't there to protect you. That I was to get a good lawyer because you were going to take the kids away. Then you yelled at me to get out."
Shaylynn sees tears running down his face. She puts her hands on his cheeks and rubs them away.
"Jay, I would NEVER say any of that to you! I love you!" she tells him pulling him closer to her.
Halstead moves closer and hugs her.
He goes to kiss her but stops, "What's wrong?" Shaylynn asks him.
"I don't want to make you uncomfortable," he tells her.
Shaylynn smiles at him then puts her hand behind his head and pushes his head toward her so his mouth is on hers.

The next morning, Hank walks into Shaylynn's room, "How you doing?" he asks her.
"I'm doing okay," she tells him.
"I'm surprised Jay isn't here," Hank says.
"He's here. I made him go to the cafeteria and get something to eat" she tells him.
Hank sits down in the chair beside Shaylynn's bed, "I want to ask you a question" he tells her.
"I figured as much" Shaylynn says looking down at her lap.
"Did we get all the guys who raped you? Hank asks trying to keep his anger to himself.
Shaylynn shakes her head 'no', "Who didn't we get?!" Hank asks her as Halstead opens the door a little but stops.
"Boris and his brother Arthur," Shaylynn tells him.
"Do you know where we can find them?" Hank asks.
"Boris will probably be at his house which is surrounded by A LOT of security. He usually leaves for his warehouse around three but only on certain days. As for Arthur, I have no clue. I don't know much about him except he was in the club a few times before last night" she tells him.
Hank stands up and touches her hand, "I'll find them!" he tells her.
Shaylynn looks at her Father, "I know you will! But can you promise me one thing?" she asks him.
"Name it!" Hank tells her.
"You find Boris, you leave him for me!" Shaylynn tells him with a pissed off look on her face.
Hank smiles at her, "You got it! I better be going and get to work."
He bends over and kisses her on the top of the head while on the other side of the door Halstead hurries down the hall and around a corner.
Walking out the door, Hank starts walking down the hallway as Halstead comes around the corner toward him.
"Hey, Jay!" Hank says when he sees Halstead, "You're staying with Shaylynn aren't you?"
"Yeah, if you don't mind," Halstead says.
"Nope, don't mind at all!" Hank tells him, "I'm going to head in."
"Alright!" Halstead tells Hank as he starts walking past him until Hank grabs ahold of his arm.
"Make the call!" Hank tells him.
Halstead nods.

Halstead walks into Shaylynn's room and up to her bed, "I brought you some magazines and a paper" he tells her.
Shaylynn gives him a funny look, "I know you don't read the paper, but this is the entertainment section" he tells her as he sits down in the chair.
She opens the entertainment section and starts scanning it for anything interesting.
Five minutes later Shaylynn starts doing a little dance in her bed.
Halstead looks at her and smiles, "What has you so happy?"
"Sia's going to be in Chicago next month!" Shaylynn tells him.
Halstead looks at her confused, "The singer!" she tells him with a somewhat annoyed look that he doesn't know who that is so she turns the paper around to show him a picture of her.
"I'm going to guess that's where our Sia got her name from?" Halstead asks.
"Yes!" Shaylynn tells him.
"Did you work for her?" Halstead asks.
"Yes!" Shaylynn says.
"How can she see?" Halstead asks her studying the picture, "Do you even know what she looks like?"
Shaylynn starts laughing, "She doesn't wear that all the time. It's to protect her identity so she can lead a private life. Plus it helps people focus more on her voice than her looks. Sort of like what The Voice does. You focus on the voice first instead of looks. Even though through the rest of the show I feel the looks play a huge part. I would love to see a Voice where it's nothing but the voice that gets someone through. You never see what anyone looks like until the very end when the winner's announced. Then they would truly be The Voice!"
Halstead smiles at her, "I've never seen you so passionate about a show before!" he tells her.
"Being around that business for a while, I've seen so many people be turned down because of how they look. They have an amazing voice or are a great actor/actress but they don't fit the mold. Who cares if someone isn't 5'10" or taller! Who cares if the person isn't a size 2! That's why I stopped doing those jobs! I couldn't take it anymore! I'm definitely not 5'10" or taller and most definitely not a size 2 but once those people found out my skills they kept their comments to themselves and their mouths shut!", Halstead sits there listening to her.
There's a knock at the door, Dr. Charles walks in, "Jay if you don't mind I'd like to talk to Shaylynn before she's discharged."
"Okay," Halstead says as he stands up, " I'll be out in the waiting room," he tells Shaylynn giving her a kiss.
Halstead walks out of the room and heads to the waiting room.
When he gets there a few people are sitting around so he walks over to the windows and pulls out his phone.
"Yeah"
"I need your help!" Halstead says, "Can you come back to Chicago?"
"Anything for you! I'll be on the next red eye!"
The phone goes dead.
