It's been a week since Halstead and Shaylynn got the keys to the house.
They've painted every room and have decided to leave the furniture in the Victorian for Mary.
With Shaylynn loving the Victorian so much, she didn't want to sell it so Mary is going to be renting it.
Mary wanted to get out from living in a condo and sold it very quickly since it's located in a prime building in downtown Chicago. She received more money if it was sold fully furnished.
After the Halsteads are fully moved out of the Victorian, Mary will be moving in.

Shaylynn sits in Halstead's truck outside Emily's house waiting for her to come out.
With leaving most of everything, other than personal items, at the Victorian Shaylynn needs to go shopping for A LOT of stuff.
With Halstead having to work today he was more than happy to let Shaylynn take his truck so he didn't have to go shopping. In turn, he drove her Charger which he didn't complain once about having to give up his truck to a shopping spree.
After five minutes Emily comes walking out.
She gets into the truck and shuts the door, "Since you have Jay's truck I have a feeling this is going to be an all day shopping trip"
Shaylynn smiles at her, "Yep! I'm going to try and buy as much as the truck will allow me to put in the back. But most of the furniture I'll have to order."
She puts the truck into drive and pulls away.

Eight hours later Shaylynn is pulling up in front of the new house.
"Are you alright?" Shaylynn asks Emily who looks exhausted.
"I'll sleep tonight with all the walking we've done," Emily tells her.
Shaylynn laughs, "We still have to unload everything."
Emily sighs and opens the door to the truck, "I didn't know I was getting myself into manual labor also!" she says then starts laughing.
Shaylynn gets out of the truck and goes to unlock the door.
"I think you were a Drill Sergeant in the Marines!" Emily tells Shaylynn as she walks up to the truck.
Shaylynn starts laughing, "Now you know what it's like to have a sister-in-law!" she says as she lowers the tailgate.
Emily grabs a bag that's full of pillows and pulls it out onto the tailgate. She lays her head down on the bag and sighs.
Shaylynn starts laughing at her sister-in-law, "Let's go" she says grabbing a couple of boxes.

After a couple of trips, everything that was in the bed of the truck is finally inside. All that's left is what's in the back seat.
Shaylynn gets ready to walk back outside when she almost runs into Halstead at the door, "I can't believe you filled up the backseat!" he tells her carrying in a ton of bags.
She smiles at him as he walks into the living room and sees everything else, "Shaylynn! Did you leave anything in the stores?" he asks as he turns around and looks at her.
Shaylynn wrinkles her nose at him, "Ha! Ha! Aren't you a comedian! Keep your day job!" she tells him, "How much is left?" she asks.
"A few bags," Halstead tells her, "Is this everything?"
"For now! The big stuff will be delivered in a couple of days" she tells him.
Halstead raises his eyebrow, "Big stuff?" he questions her.
"Couches, tables, beds, etc. Big stuff!" Shaylynn tells him.
Emily walks into the living room, "I put the stuff I had into the others rooms" she tells Shaylynn seeing Halstead.
"Jay," Emily says.
"Em," Halstead says back to her.
Shaylynn looks at Emily then at Halstead, "Come on guys! Can you two please bury whatever hatchet you have between each other! It would make things so much easier! I mean the kids were thrilled to find out they have another Aunt. If you guys don't bury the hatchet for each other at least do it for the kids!" she tells them, Shaylynn looks over at Halstead, "I have to take Emily home."
Emily walks past Shaylynn and out the door.
Shaylynn looks at Halstead, "Fix this!" she tells him turning around and walking out the door.
By the time Shaylynn gets outside, Emily's in the truck.
Shaylynn gets in, starts the truck up and drives off.

On the way back to her place, Emily notices while Shaylynn's driving she keeps looking into the rearview mirror.
"What is it?" Emily asks her.
"We're being followed!" Shaylynn tells her.
"Can you tell who it is?" Emily asks.
"I thought it was Erin, but the hair's too long and dark," Shaylynn tells her.
"Are you for sure we're being followed?" Emily asks Shaylynn.
"Pretty sure! I'll slow way down. If they're not following us they'll get pissed off and go around" Shaylynn says slowing down.
A few cars blow their horns and go around but the car in question stays back.
Emily sees this in the passenger side mirror.
"Who do you think it is?" Emily asks Shaylynn.
"No clue! Since this is Jay's truck are they following 'us' or do they think they're following Jay?!" Shaylynn says.
